Upon arriving to Jasper's house I park my tuck in his driveway and jump out slamming the car door shut. The slam echos in the empty street since it was about seven o'clock in the morning so no one was out on an early Saturday morning, but my best friend and girlfriend seem to be early risers, lucky me right? Not.

I clamber my way to Jas' door and knock on the heavy wood door of his ranch style home on the other side of where I come from. So it took about 30 minutes to get to his house but it doesn't matter. I lean my weight on one of the pillars near the door with my arms crossed over my chest. As I wait for him to make an appearance I take in the deep blue color of his home. And how his thick redwood door is the color of some sort of deep red color. It is almost as rich as red velvet cake but not that vibrant. The door swings open and my friend lazily gestures me inside the cozy home.

"So, why up so early?" I manage to get out before Jasper starts on the stairs.

"Not really your business is it?" he remarked with a snarky smirk on his lips making me nervous. He normally is like this but not with a cryptic saying like that.

"Well considering you didn't let me sleep... yes. yes it is my business." I nodded my head at him as I followed him into his room where he falls on the bed and I fall in the chair next to his bed.

We sit in a tense silence, well tense on his part, I'm half dead at this point and don't really have tension.
"You going to talk or just suffocate yourself like that?" Comes my soft voice into the thick tense fog of air. The man in question is rolling over on his back to gleam at me.

"Well. A little birdy told me you're watching over Kyra while her big bad brother goes to college! How exciting!" He squealed in sarcasm making me furrow my eyebrows.

"How.." I licked my lips, "no one knows about that besides me and her brother. Was it someone on the surf team?" Now it was time to panic. Kyle didn't want anyone to know about this and now Jasper is telling me something i already know? Doesn't make sense.

"Kyra basically made a scene last night.. and so.." he licked his lips making it clear there was more, "that means we have a party to go tonight. And you can't say no because you're watching over her."

Basically he was right, he was very, truthfully right and I just slumped into my chair. She was going to be the end of my school status of golden boy.

"You're right.. are we getting Abby involved-" I shook my head at my own question, "no. I don't need her knowing about this just yet."

That was the end of the discussion and we started with playing video games the rest of the day. My thoughts were still on Kyra and this party. What the hell was going to happen.

Sooooo I'm a bad author. I haven't updated in so long and I really truthfully tried. Well some anyway.
School just was a major issue, plus I was trying to have a social life... it's not working well. But I'm trying. Maybe this year I'll finally be able to give you all good updates and finish this so I can edit and change it later on.
Anyway!! Glad to be back and I hope everyone was good!! Until next time.
