Maelee

Maelee part 2

This chapter will contain mentions of self harm and suicide if you are not comfortable with this then please do not read.

Hoseok asked Maelee out on Thursday. He did so by dragging her away from Taehyung and walking her to a park after school. On the way there, all they discussed was a new Kpop band which they both rather enjoyed, Nct.

When they arrived to the park Hoseok took her to a little spot by the lake, he stopped walking and looked at Maelee smiling nervously, instead of his normal confident smirk. He moved his hand towards her face and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"Maelee, you've been an amazing friend these past couple of moths." He began looking into her eyes and lightly chewing on his bottom lip,

"I've noticed recently that I've been looking at you differently and I have something to ask you." He said getting down on one knee and pulling out a ring pop.

"Will you do me the honor of going on a date with me?" He asked as he felt his heart pounding in his chest, Maelee looked over joyed and nodded her head a smile spreading over her lips. He walked her home, her hand intertwined with his.

"So we'll go to a movie on Saturday at 7, I will pick you up at 6:30 if that's alright with you."

"That's perfect" she smiled and waved goodbye before entering her house.

The next day Maelee arrived to school with Taehyung by her side, as they were walking to school Maelee told Taehyung everything.

"TaeTae I'm so excited!" she exclaimed happily "I really hope this date goes well, I really like him" she smiled as they entered the building.

Taehyung tried his best to not completely break down, feeling his heart shatter and his stomach become upset. He blinked back the tears and forced a believable smile onto his lips.

"Ah Mae I'm so happy for you." he said focusing on keeping his voice steady and sounding at least a little happy.

Maelee noticed something was wrong. Immediately she could tell his smile wasn't as bright as it was at that moment. She did not question him about it, if he wanted to talk to her about it she would wait for him to bring it up.  Taehyung remained that way for the rest of the day, he seemed to zone out and distance himself from everyone, this concerned Maelee but still she did not bring it up.

When Saturday came around Maelee texted Taehyung to make sure he was ok.

'tae tae, are you ok?' she waited about 5 minutes until she got a response  'ya I'm ok Mae, have fun on your date :)'

Maelee smiled and decided to start getting ready. She took a quick shower, lightly curled her hair and put on some light make up. She went to her closet and picked out a cute red crop top and black leggings, with her Nike shoes. she smiled at her reflection and checked the time

'5:30'

Maelee smiled to herself and jumped onto the couch and turned on Netflix and hitting Grey's anatomy. I mean what better way to kill an hour.

Hoseok showed up at 6:30 and took her to watch infinity war, which Maelee was so excited for. They went for ice cream after the movie and then went on a walk in the park talking about anything that came to mind. It was a wonderful date, and when Maelee came home she texted Taehyung informing him of everything. Taehyung felt himself crumble as he read her message, his heart ached for her. Of course he was happy that she was happy, but he couldn't help but feel that he would lose his best friend.

The next few Saturdays Maelee and Hoseok went on more dates and after their 5th one, they became official.

On the next morning they decided to tell their friends. They waited till lunch and made sure everyone was seated at the table the couple shooting each other loving looks.
