Garrett and I have been talking all summer. Non stop pretty much, late night calls, plenty of smiles and laughs, but...I feel as if he's more than a friend to me, I...I love him, I just couldn't bring myself to tell him. I'd get really fidgety and nervous on our calls and he asked me eventually, "Hey...Are you okay? You're more fidgety than usual. Something on your mind?" He asks worry laced in his tone. It took me a minute to reply but I eventually got out the words, "Yeah. Yeah I'm alright." I gave a reassuring smile to him and he laughs, "If you say so" we talked for a while and I decided to sing 'Still I Fly' and I actually managed to get the song out without rambling before but after...I was rambling like crazy, Garrett gave me a look, "Uh El? You okay?" He had given me the nickname El a few weeks ago at first I didn't like it but I eventually grew to it. I look at him, "Yeah I'm good." I heard the back door open, mom was home, just perfect. Luckily I was in my bedroom, Garrett smiled at me reassuringly telling me, "It'll be okay, okay?" I nod cuddling up to my blanket. Soon enough I fell asleep but the weirdest things happened that I can not describe.
Sorry this was so short!! I didn't have much inspiration for this part! Hopefully writers block doesn't hate me as much in a day or two. Anyways hope you enjoyed! -Kyomi-
