Once upon a time there was a little girl with light brown hair and eyes as brown as chestnuts, who lived in the wood with her mother and her name was Liyla . One mysterious morning Liyla's mother shouted up to her bedroom asking her to do a task. With her tired eyes she slowly got up and walked down the creaky wooden stairs towards her mother. "Now Liyla, i need you to take this basket to your grandma's as soon as possible, it's very important" the mother said. "Yes of course mother i love going to grandma's" she replied. So Liyla ran upstairs and got changed into a white patterned dress and shoes, then came down stairs to collected the basket. Standing by the basket wondering where her mother was, she got a sudden fright when Liyla's mother came up behind her and grabbed her hand singing:

Beware, beware, the wolf's stare,

He will slash and skin you now,

Beware, beware, the wolf's stare,

He will eat you alive!

Liyla took no notice to her crazy mother, grabbed her Pure white Hood and set off to go to her grandma's.

When she got half way between her grandma's and her house she started to feel a cold chill and suddenly got a shiver like someone walked over her soon to be grave. Then there was a snap, Liyla quickly turned round but there was no one there, it happened again but there was still no sign of anything however she knew that she wasn't alone. Amongst the dark shadowed bushes there were a pair of bright red eyes staring right at her, no matter what she was feeling inside she was frozen and her eyes fixed on this creature or thing staring back at her. Suddenly a dark figure showed up behind her with metal gleaming a faint light above this figures head, Liyla finally came back to reality and ran as fast as she could to the only way possible, her grandma's.

She finally got to her grandma's banging on the door to let her in, there was no answer. She kept banging and banging until the door slowly creaked open. "Hello?" said Liyla talking into the darkness, but there was still no reply. She made her way more into the house until she came to the stairs. The door slammed shut, but there was no wind to have shut so the question is who was in the house with her. Liyla made her way upstairs where it got darker and darker each step she took. When she reached the top there was a trail of blood leading to her grandma's bedroom, she opened the door and again whispered "Hello?". This time there was a reply, this time there was a quite croaky voice that replied "Come in".

She entered the room further but could see no one, all that she could see was an empty bed with rich, fresh blood everywhere. Liyla backed up into a wall looking in such horror knowing who's blood had been spilt. Suddenly she could feel something, like someone was breathing down the back of her neck. She turned round round slowly and.... There was the wolf with fire red eyes and coat as black as coal, the wolf jumped on Liyla and started tearing at her clothes. Liyla pushed him off runnign to the door with the wolf right behind her, one wrong move and she dead, one tiny mistake could mean the end for her. She got to the front door, but it was locked, she tried and tried as much as she could to open it but each time she failed. The wolf was getting nearer and nearer and as the wolf swung his paw to slash her, she got out, this was her chance forgetting about the dark figure that was also in the woods she ran for her life back home, where she thought she might be safe.

When she got home the door was already open the place trashed, and there was the dark figure with the gleaming metal object and beside the figure on the floor was Liyla's mother dead. The wolf howled and she sprinted upstairs to her room with no windows and no way to escape. She heard a violent scream and the sound of flesh being torn apart, this she knew for a fact was the dark figure and her mother being digested down the wolf throat. Liyla could see the wolfs mysterious shadow below the crack of her door and heard its heavy breathing waiting at her door. He started slamming on the door just about to get through, she knew this was the end and that there was nothing she could do. Liyla accepted her fate and opened the door. The wolf came bursting in and jumped straight on her eating away at her bit by bit while she was still alive, blood stained her little white dress and hood as her blood was dripping from the wolfs, gigantic mouth.

Liyla suddenly woke from what was a nightmare and ran down stairs to her mother hugging and kissing her, thankful that she was alive. "What's that for?" her mother wondered "it's just because i love you so much" Liyla commented. However her mother said a sentence that Liyla never ever wanted to hear again "Can you take this basket over to your grandma's?" and thats when she realized that it was a vision of the future and not just a nightmare.

Even though Liyla saw her blood stains appearing on her white hood and dress, she knew that she had to go to grandma's.
