Day #47: Power Lost

You must be wondering: what is the meaning of the title? Well if you read the news, you'll see. Something has gotten way out of hand, and I need to address it.

The dogs were doing fine. The medic dogs didn't receive any warnings from the spirits. The hunters brought back so much food to eat. But then, and odd smell started to arise. The dogs smell it, but where is this smell coming from? It doesn't smell like a fire. No. Instead, it has a tang of longpaw to it. Perhaps...this smell is coming from a gasoline leak?

Yes. A gasoline leak. A truck, or loud cage, carrying gasoline has crashed into the forest. The gasoline is spreading fast, killing every living plant in its wake, including  herbs and other vegetation. Since prey eats vegetation, the prey surrounding the leak may be infected with dangerous gasoline. Dogs may also get sick, if they eat this prey. Watch out, and good luck.

News:
1. I am finally stripping dogs of their powers. No more magic, no more unfairness. Sorry guys, it just had to happen, hope you understand! But every time you used powers, you probably overpowered a bunch of other roleplayers. That means, that if you want to look menacing, you'll have to train in the train chain.

2. Prey Pile Chain has finally arrived! I forgot who made the idea, but it isn't mine. So, the Prey Pile Chain is where everyone will hunt and eat. People will either comment in the chain saying:

Sage wants to hunt with ______
OR
Sage wants to hunt alone.

I will reply with the number of prey you have caught. It will depend on skill level, and the amount of dogs you have in your hunting patrol. If you're alone, you are less likely to get much, while in a group, you may earn more. If you're a high skill level, you'll have ,ore of a chance to catch something than a lower skill level, etc. Also, hunters are the only ones who are allowed to use this, along with the higher ranks like Delta, Beta, Alpha, etc. So if your pack doesn't have hunters...you'll starve. So get some hunters. Each pack will have a prey pile, and at the beginning of each day, you will see how much prey is in your pile.

Also, in the prey pile chain, you will decide of you eat, or skip a meal.
You will only need to tell me if you don't eat one day, and if you don't tell me that you won't eat one day, then your character will have been fed. If you don't eat in three days total, you'll have a message saying that one of your characters is starving. Starving can mean death. But if you skip a meal, your pack may be able to conserve a more prey to feed the pack. It's your choice. Here is the format:

3. I'm sure you've noticed the Shipping Shrine.

4. Raging Winds Pack has been disassembled. This means, a new pack may move in...or created.
