Tavi's P.o.v

I stood beside Shad. He was my teacher. Teaching me everything about magic. If Enki knew, he would ground me from using my magic for like... A year! "Tavi, I need to go see Irene. Stay here and wait for me to return." He told me placing his hand on my shoulder. I nodded as he left into the silent halls of the castle. I still got lost in it. I just moved in with Enki and his friends four months ago. I picked up my journal and wrote a new spell in it. For the four months I've been here, I almost had a full journal of new spells that not alot of magic users know about. I just wondered why Shad had to see Irene in the middle of a lesson. It... Wasn't like him...

Shad's P.o.v

I quickly told Tavi I needed to talk to Irene. But it was a lie. A terrible lie. For the past week, I hadn't had my relic in me. It was currupted. If I left it in me I would have a horrible fate along with Tavi's. But, if it wasn't in me in the next twenty four hours I would die. I had to do something. But what? If the others knew... She watched as there lives were being taken. Maybe I should go apologize. But it always goes wrong. I'll wait. She had so much to be mad at me for. I decided to try to apologize. I went to her room and knocked. Once. Twice. No answer. I decided to knock again. Once. Twice. No answer. Carefully I opened the door. Looking around, I noticed she wasn't here. Weird. She never leaves her room. I looked around some more and noticed something. A book not quite like the others. I grabbed the book but it didn't move. Instead, the wall of books flipped into a secret room. The room was filled with different types of magic books and auras. The feeling was so hard to take in. A rage of anger and disappointment. I told her NOT to use magic. It always comes with a price. " What do you think your doing!?" Called out a angry voice. When I turned around I saw...
