After the feast and glaring at Draco for most of dinner, I decided I would ask Dumbledore about why I was in Slytherin. First we had to go to the common rooms and get the password and learn where we would be sleeping. Serpents tongue was the password this year.

Finally, I was aloud to leave, I ran out the door to try to find Dumbledore, why does this castle have to be so big? I came to this entrance where there was a bird like statue. I'm not good with birds, so I have no idea what it actually was. It started to move which almost gave me a heart attack. Stairs started to appear and I decided to go up them, not even sure where they would lead.

"Hello, Deena," I heard before I even reached the top of the stairs. "I understand that you think you believe you should be in Gryffindor and not Slytherin?" The voice said as I reached the top. How does he know? The only people that had found out were the people around me, and I think only two people heard. "There's a reason you are not in Gryffindor, Deena. However, it is not my place to tell you all of the details." Dumbldore was now facing me instead of the bird beside his desk. "Your biological parents, I'm sure your mum has told you a little bit about them, yes?" He asked looking me in the eyes. How does he know all of this?

"Erm, yeah?" he motioned for me to sit in the chair in front of his desk. "I don't really know much about them, though." I sat in the chair.

"You know that they were Voldemort followers?" he questioned but as if he already knew the answer.

"Yes," I confirmed. He's not afraid of him? He said his name.

"They are the reason you are in Slytherin, You look a lot like your mother, you know," he said almost out of no where, but not really. "Slytherin will be good for you, don't worry. The hat never makes mistakes." He finished.

"But my mum was in Gryffindor, I have to be in Gryffindor! I can't be in Slytherin, my parents didn't even want me in the first place," I half yelled not meaning to.

"It does not matter what your mum was in, what matters is what you truly belong in. Now, off to bed, Deena." he said almost pushing me out the door.

I sighed not getting any real answers from him. How did he know my real mother? This just created more questions in my head.

"Serpents tongue." I said as the portrait opened giving me access to the common room.

"How'd it go?" Draco asked looking up at me from the couch, smirking. Like he cared.

"He just said some bullshit about my biological parents and how I belong in Slytherin," I said looking down at my feet. Draco walked up to me.

"What do you mean, 'your biological parents'?" He asked looking confused. "I thought you were a pure-blood?" He questioned with that same smirk on his face. It freaked me out how we looked so similar though.

"I am, I was adopted into a different family because my parents didn't want me." I said regretting saying that much.

"I wouldn't want you either," he smirked with an evil look in his eyes.

"I'm going to bed," I rolled my eyes as I stomped off to the girls dormitories.

"You okay?" Pansy asked curiously, she only wonders because she wants Draco all to herself. Which is fine with me, I don't like either of them.

"Yeah, fine," I growled as I got into my bed and pulled the covers over my head slowly drifting off to sleep.

I awoke with a loud scream, why would someone ever want to wake me up with a scream, what the hell were they thinking? I looked up to see Pansy Parkinson jumping around like a maniac. Ugh, I hate her.
