Today was the last day of summer before I officially started my Junior year of High School. Right now I was face timing my best friend Veronica, we were trying to decide what we wanted to wear tomorrow, cause you know you have to look good on your first day of school. You'll just have to wait till tomorrow to see what will choose to wear.

I had just finished face timing veronica and I could hear my mom yelling from the kitchen downstairs that dinner was ready, and i'm guessing that my brothers heard mom too because when I was opening my bedroom door they all were running out of their room to go downstairs to eat.

At Dinner

"Kenz are you driving to school tomorrow or is Veronica driving you to school tomorrow?" mom asked, "Um actually, we were gonna ask if Dylan would be able to take us since you know his school is close to ours?" I asked. "Well I guess i'll drive you guys to school tomorrow, then i'll get more time to spend with my baby sister and her best friend"he said, "Oh and also we'll have to go and pick Matt up since he doesn't have a ride" I added " Ugh do we have to, you know Matt doesn't like me" said Dylan, "Yes we have to I told him we would and Dylan, FYI Matt does like you it's the other way around you don't like Matt" I said.

"Mom Kenzie took my phone and she won't give it back" Finn said, "Kenzie give your brother back his phone" mom said. "But mo-" I started to say tell my dad cut me off. "KENZINGTON GIVE YOUR BROTHER BACK HIS PHONE NOW" my dad yells at me, and I give Finn his phone back. "You win this time but next time i'm gonna find out who you're texting" I tell Finn.
"Kenzie can you come down to the family room really quick mom and I wanna talk to you" Dad said. I know what there gonna talk to me about there gonna tell me that I need to stop taking Finn's phone away because that wasn't the first time that happened, but I just really wanna know what girl he's texting because I know he's texting a girl.
"Hey dad what's up?" I asked him, "Kenz" he started saying, "You know you also get in trouble every time you take you're brothers phone why can't you learn to just not touch his phone" he finished saying, "Dad it's that he's texting a girl and I just want to know who, but he won't tell me so I've to just been trying to figure it out myself" I said, "Kenzie your brother will tell you who he's texting when he's ready to tell you but just give him some time, ok?" "Ok" I answered
Hey guys i hope you enjoyed the actual first chapter of the book. Next chapter i'm planning on making it about there first day of school.
