Cinematic and dramatic [A Katy Perry Fanfiction]

Chapter 1

“Katy you should come! It’s been so long since you’ve had a fun night out. You owe it to yourself.” Shannon said as she made her way over to Katy who was slouched down on the sofa. “I just don’t feel like it” Katy mumbled in reply. “Katy I don’t think you’ll ever feel like it, you need to leave the house at some point. You can’t stay cooped up in here forever. Please Katy, I promise you’ll have a great time! Do it for me” Shannon pleaded. “Ugh fine!” Katy said then sank even further into the soft cushions. “Yaaaassss! I’ll pick you up around 10:30pm” Shannon said before she gave Katy a quick peck and grabbed her coat. “Kay” Katy said quietly.

Katy made the finishing touches to her makeup and gave herself one last look in the mirror before she went downstairs. She was wearing a tight black short dress that showed her whole back off and ended a few inches above her knees. Her makeup and hair were done to perfection. Overall she looked effortlessly beautiful.

Katy heard a couple of knocks against the door so she made her way over to open it. Once she did she was greeted by Shannon who was standing there with a huge grin on her face. “You ready?” She said as she made her way over to her car. “As ready as I’m ever going to be” Katy replied following Shannon after locking her front door.

Katy and Shannon made their way through the club having to shout over the loud music every time they wanted to say something.

Finally they managed to find the VIP section where Markus, Ferras and various other friends were sitting already partially drunk from the shots they’d been throwing down their throats. “KATYYYY you came” a familiar voice shrieked. Katy turned around and saw Mia struggling to walk properly over to her, Katy let out a laugh then grabbed her friend and embraced her in a tight hug. “You’re a mess babe”

Everyone including Katy was now drunk. “We need more shots!!” Markus shouted. “I’ll get them” Katy said and tried to stand up, falling back down three times before she managed to successfully balance herself on both feet.

Katy made her way over to the bar, wobbling with each step she took. Suddenly she crashed into someone which made her lose all balance and fall to the ground. “Ohmygod I’m so sorry” a male voice said crouching down to help her to her feet. “It’s okay” Katy said nervously looking up, locking eyes with the person standing directly in front of her. He was a handsome tall muscular guy with chocolate brown hair and dark brown apologetic eyes. “Oh wow, well this is something that I never thought would ever happen” he said with a little laugh once he realised who he’d just knocked over then his face went back to being serious “are you okay?” Katy smiled “yeah, I’m fine” she saw his lips curl into a smile and felt her heart skip a beat at the sight and how hot he was. She suddenly felt embarrassed and looked down at her feet. He tilted his head grinning at her embarrassment “I’m Josh by the way. You don’t have to tell me your name, I think I have an idea of what it is” Josh said with a wink. “How about I buy you a drink to make up for it?” Katy looked up at him and let out a small giggle. “You don’t have to do that” “Yeah well, I want to. So what will it be?” Josh said, his voice deep and sexy. “I’ll have a shot of vodka… Josh” Katy replied with confidence giving him a smile and a wink like the one he had given her just before.
