"I went to a hair salon and got it cut." I said as I ran a hand through my hair.

"Oh. It looks gorgeous on you, though," Gamora said as I heard the holographic communicator ring.

Gamora must've tapped on it, but I heard a representative of my least favorite person.

High Priestess Ayesha of the Sovereign.

Total snob who hates Chleorians since their visit to Chleoria, which thankfully is three jumps away.

"Is this the Guardians of the Galaxy?" The golden girl asked.

"Yes, what do you need?" Gamora asked as I stormed out of the room, only to slam into Peter, who was coming in from the cockpit.

"Oh! My apologies," I said quickly as I slipped around him en route to my room.

"Yep," I said. "We should remain vigilant about what they offer us."

"Cmere," Keith said as he rolled out of bed.

I walked over to him, unsure about what would happen next.

"I love you, Desiree," he whispered as I felt my cheeks turn a shade of pink.

"Love you too, Keith," I replied back with a kiss before nuzzling my head into his shoulder.

As I did so, a terrifying vision came to me that sent a chill down my spine. Keith will get impaled. I didn't show my true feelings, however.

"Well, I'm all set to go, so I'll let you get dressed," I said awkwardly, getting a laugh from Keith.

I exited the room and prepared for the Abilisk.

"Show time, a-holes!" Peter said as he looked at his abilisk tracker.

"Language!" Keith exclaimed,
