She flipped to the next page, as much as she wanted to be, she wasn't fully immersed in the story, she couldn't focus, but she continued in her attenpt to become a part of the story nonetheless, after 2 more pages she heard a car driving down the dirt road in front of the house, or rather she heard the music streaming from the car's windows, some techo underground beat thrumming through the air, standing from the bed she felt her knee twinge and threaten to give out, she ignored this in favor of walking to the small open window on the oppisite wall of the even smaller room. The car finally appeared past a break in the treeline, it was hard to tell what kind it was except that it was pitch black, she saw a dim shine of blonde hair, and then bright blue eyes looking directly towards her; a shiver fell down her spine, and she ripped the curtains closed.
