Wyatt and Lucy: The beginning of a new story

A "shadowy" figure

It was night in the town. It had just rained and there was a lite mist in the air. The cobblestone street only lit up by the yellow street lights. After Wyatt and Rufus had just taken out all the gang members attacking them there were two left, and one of them was holding a gun up at Lucy. Wyatt didn't know who he was, he just looked like a shadowy figure. Lucy and the man were talking but neither Rufus or Wyatt could hear what they were talking about. But Wyatt felt something, and it didn't feel right. He new the figure was about to shoot. All of a sudden he screams for Lucy but it's too late, he heard a gunshot almost half a second after he screamed for her. He saw Lucy move back, he knew she had been shot. He screamed her name again and as he ran to her he shot the figure and his henchman. He caught her right before she fell and he let her down slowly. She had been shot right around the place Rufus was shot by Al Capone. "No", Wyatt says worriedly, tears about to start coming out of his eyes. Rufus runs over to see what had happened. She was breathing heavily as she laid in Wyatt's lap. "Just look at me okay? Keep your eyes on me", Wyatt says to her. Rufus applies pressure to the wound to try and stop the bleeding. Lucy is starting to lose consciousness and Wyatt sees this. "We have to get her to the lifeboat now", Wyatt yells. He picks her up and Wyatt and Rufus run back to the lifeboat. Lucy is almost passed out as Wyatt buckles her in her seat. As she's sitting there she starts to black out. The last things she heard was Wyatt screaming her name as she then passed out.
