-JIMIN POV-

I hope he isn't dating me out of pity. That'd be heart shattering for me. It would tear me into tiny shreds, but it's Jeon Jungkook, he's very...unexpected.

When we popped the last few pieces of cotton candy in our mouths and swallowed it, Jungkook grabbed my hand and told me to follow him since we were going on one more ride for the day, before we go look at the fireworks they were showing tonight. It was getting darker by the minute and once it was dark enough that you could barely see anything, all the rides lit up with beautiful, colorful fairy lights. Pink ones, blue ones, and rainbow ones lit up the night sky. It seems very cliche, but it was a good kind of cliche. It was so ethereal it just made me so speechless I couldn't think of anything else.

"Jimin, we're here" I heard Jungkook's voice call my name. As I looked up to meet his eyes with mine, he nudged my shoulder a little and signaled me to look up at the ride.

"Wow..."

"Ya like?"

"Yeah! It looks so beautiful!"

"I'm glad you like it, Jimin." We both walked up to the worker that controlled the Ferris wheel and she let us on. We jumped into a booth and sat down on the seats facing each other. We sat in front of each other and stared deep into each other's soul. It was silent when the ride started, but not an awkward kind of silence, it was like...a calm soothing silence. I could've slept at anytime.

"Jimin?"

"Hmm?" I hummed in response.

"It's been fun today..."

"Yeah, it really has...thank you for taking me today, although I was a bit of a burden for you..."

"Nah, it's okay, I enjoyed today too" we began staring at each other some more until we heard a noise outside the Ferris wheel. Fireworks were going off. All different kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors. Blue ones, yellow ones, purple ones, and way way more colors. It really has been the best day of my life. Today made me so so happy I could just stop time and stay like this forever with Jungkook.

"Isn't this just beautiful?" I asked Jungkook.

"Yeah, but you're more beautiful..." eh? Did I hear that correctly? This is actually so cliche I actually might die now.

"W-what..?"

-JUNGKOOK POV-

"W-what..?" I quickly covered my mouth realizing what I just said to Jimin out of no where.

"F-forget I said that...let's just watch the fireworks..."

"O-oh okay..." and as he said that we sat in awkward silence watching the fireworks end as the ride came to a slow stop.
