"Jerk."

Baekhyun quietly cursed when he got a photo message from Tao, a photo of the large size pizza from Baekhyun's favorite restaurant. Tao did not have night duty so he could go eat whatever he wanted while Baekhyun now had to check the patient's situation after seven hours of surgery.

He put his phone back in the duty coat's pocket and his eyes lay on an incident. The two men in full black tuxedos were dragging a young man all along the corridor of the sixth floor and heading towards the elevator.

"Aren't they the securities of Senator Jang?"

Baekhyun murmured and turned his way to the patient's room, which was in front of the Senator's. He entered the room and saw the patient who had returned to his senses. Baekhyun gave a warm smile to him and turned around his body towards the door to close it but he saw someone wearing black entering the Senator's room.

Alarm rang in his head and his heart beat faster as he took steps towards the Senator's room. He could only see the broad shoulders and attractive back of the man but he sensed something strangely familiar.

The door was slightly open and Baekhyun pushed it gently so it did not make sound. He entered the room and gasped when he finally noticed the familiar figure. He covered his own mouth to prevent from making any sound and waited till the man turned around.

After putting the Senator on the wheelchair, the man turned around and Baekhyun felt like he lost everything at the moment. How could he forget those intense eyes?

They shared a short eye contact and he knew Chanyeol found out that he remembered the taller just by his unique eyes. In just one blink, Baekhyun's sight went black just after a strong hit on his nape.

As a doctor, he knew his forehead was bleeding because of the warm and sticky liquid he felt on his skin.

"Is there something disturbing you, Chanyeol?"

Mr. Hong asked when he noticed the nth time of Chanyeol spacing out during the gang members gathering.

"Uhm, well."

"If you aren't feeling good, you can go rest."

"Thanks."

Chanyeol replied and immediately ran out of the Phoenix mansion. He could not think straight right now as his mind was completely occupied by the doctor. To be honest, he was worried about him so much.

After driving a few minutes, Chanyeol reached the hospital. He hated hospitals so much but it was his third time coming here in this month. He parked the car in the parking lot and quickly walked towards the entrance.

Heading to the reception, Chanyeol noticed the nurses whispering something to each other when they saw him. He stood in front of the reception and asked.

"Uhm, do you know where doctor Byun Baekhyun is?"

"He took a leave for two days."

Something directly hit Chanyeol's heart hard, thinking that he really hurt the boy.

"Can I get his address?"

The two nurses stared at each other with small mischievous grins on their faces before handing Chanyeol a piece of paper on which the address was written.
