The Titanic was up to 228 feet (69   metres) in high . The gantry built over the RMS Titanic and her sister ship Olympic. Fittingly, it was the largest gantry in the world at that time.  
269.1 metres or 882.9 feet was the length of the Titanic

31 March 1909 - the date on which the keel of the Titanic was laid down and construction commenced.$7,500,000 was the cost of building the RMS Titanic.

At 11.40pm on the night of 14 April 1912, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, the RMS Titanic struck the iceberg that would ultimately lead to the sinking of the ship less than 3 hours later. At around 2.20am on the morning of 15 April, the Titanic disappeared beneath the surface of the Atlantic Ocean, a disaster that resulted in the loss of more than 1,500 lives, almost two-thirds of the people on board

64 - the number of lifeboats the Titanic was equipped to carry. 20 was the number of lifeboats she actually carried.

 The minutes it took the Titanic to sink after hitting the iceberg (2 hours and 40 minutes).

•The British flag was on the Titanic because the the Ester Rising never happened at the time.
