Chapter 7:The bite

Lukas' POV:
I insisted on sitting on a different chair so I wasn't near any of the others but Jesse said she didn't want me to be alone.I sat next to Petra at the end of the couch.While they were watching the movie,I started reading a vampire fact book.Of course I had put away my fangs,because Olivia​,Axel and Ivor didn't know about it and I didn't want to scare them.As we got to half an hour of the movie,I had noticed I had been shaking all that time.Then I came across a page which seriously scared me.Apparently, there were 3 stages of becoming a vampire.The first stage was growing fangs.Well obviously I thought.The second stage was I would shake over nothing for a few hours.Well yeah I though.The last stage scared me.It was feeding and it wasn't just feeding on anything.It was feeding on human blood.That's when I accidentally dropped my book,which made a loud bang.Petra looked at me alarmed."Hey Lukas you okay" She asked.I managed to nod my head and she carried on watching the movie.Suddenly my fangs appeared.What were they doing! That's when I heard it. Bite her a voice said .No I said in my head.,Bite her now" the voice said.I couldn't control.I bit Petra and she screamed in pain.Everyone suddenly looked at me.I could tell why.Blood covered me.Petra got out her sword ready to attach me.I dodged it."WHAT ARE YOU DOING LUKAS" I heard Jesse shout.Suddenly I was pinned down to the ground by her and Petra was pinned to the ground by Olivia.She carried me into my room and looked at me ashamed.Then,she walked out my room to check on Petra.I put away my fangs and cried into my pillow.I could hear Jesse saying that Petra wasn't going to turn into a vampire I only took some of her blood.What was I going to do now? They were never going to believe that I did it by an accident.
