" Emma, I'm not letting you go anywhere" I tried to give her my most serious look. She wouldn't fall for it, no doubt.

"Please Adie. I'm not going far. Just to look around my Princeton stores" She started with the baby doll eyes.

" They are not your stores yet. And besides, you know I don't fall for Blue eyes" I folded my arms in triumph. She 'hmph'ed before taking a few steps back and saying, "you have to catch me then"

"Sure,I'll do just that...wait, what?" It took me a while to process what she had just said. She was well on her way before I had the chance to get up from the lounge.

"Emma! Where are you? "

How exactly did dad convince me to let them tag along? Yeah, all it took was a tub of cookie dough flavoured ice cream just for me.

How am I even going to find her in this crowd? She's damn small. She could be just anywhere, maybe under a table or something.

" Urgh! Damn you Emma! "I inwardly growled. This is definitely not the best time to attract a crowd or paparazzi, and it's a bit shocking that people around me haven't noticed me yet. It's really annoying that I don't even get to make good friends here in China, but I plan on changing that as soon as I get to Paris. I'll probably start with my girlfriend, Lyna. She's one of the many reasons I agreed to complete my high school in Paris. I caught a glimpse of two little feet. Having my hopes up, I move closer to find that they belong to my little sister.

Placing both palms over my eyes, I called out to Emma, in pretence that I hadn't found her.

"Aha!I've found you" the lady beside her scrambled up as if she were in a rush. She looked 17, and acted like a PA, clutching her purse with both hands and keeping it with her.

Then I winked.

Seriously? Am I that bad ?

"Aidie!!" Emma screeched.

"Aidie? "She chuckled. "You must have been looking for her. She's your sister, right? "She stated the obvious, like she was unsure of her self.

"Too bad she is." I smile. Maybe the friend hunt can't wait. "Hi, I'm-"

" Aidie, I'll take care of the formalities" Emma huffed.

"Fine"

"Pheobe, I want you to meet Adrian Princeton, my big brother. Aidie, meet Pheobe Cesairé, my new friend"

Friend. Just what I want.

"Nice to meet you, Aidie" She said with an outstretched arm. I visibly cringed at the name.
"Nice to meet you too, Pheobe."I took her hand in mine. Her skin was soft and really...pale. " You're pale Pheobe" She chuckled at my remark.
" Yeah. I guess France got the most of me there. It's not that bad, right? "
"It's not bad at all. It's definitely the perfect match for your eyes. I love the shade"

Oh no. Did I just say that? What's wrong with my mouth?

She had blue eyes for God's sake. I really hated the colour. But...I've never seen that shade before. It's very...interesting.

"Why, thank you. I've always thought green would be better"

" That's correct. Everything about me fits perfectly. "

" Pheobe, do you want to know Aidie's worst colour? "Emma whispered into her ear, loud enough for me to hear.

Oh no. She wasn't doing this.

" And what is it,?" She whispered back, following the game.

" It's-"

" Emma dad told me to bring you back. He's waiting for you." I cut her off before she could say more.

"Sure, dad awaits me. But of course, I'd just have to tell him what exactly happened to the car he got for you"

She's blackmailing me now?

" What? You can't do that. He'd just decide to remain in Paris with me. That is never going to happen."

" What are you going to give me in return?"

" You can have the ice cream dad promised me."

She gently massaged her chin with her left hand to assume a thinking posture. " What flavour was it again? "

"Cookie dough"

" Too bad. It should have been chocolate chip"

" Come on Emma. You're one step to being a teenager. Big girls don't do this"
I definitely know where to get her. She'd be thirteen next month and she'd been bragging about it. It was the perfect bait.

" For once, you actually make sense."She glared at me, pointing at me with her index and middle finger. " I've got my eyes on you."
With that, she stalked off.
I let out the breath I didn't even know I was holding. Pheobe sat there not saying anything. Her face was completely expressionless.

" I didn't mean to-"
" It's okay. I know it anyway." This is turning out bad.
"You do?"

" Yeah. It's pretty obvious that you hate blue. And me too. You didn't think I'd believe that, did you? "

" I-"

" Palest of skins fitting the palest of eyes? I thought you'd know better than that as the son of Phillipé Princeton. I never knew I could be this wrong."

So much for the friend hunt.
