Alycia's P.O.V
I was in total shock. He told me that he was taking today off. But he lied. Or...was he forced to compete against me.
"Gannon?" I asked.
"Alycia, I can explain. I swear. Just, do the race the best you possibly can. I will explain everything afterwards, I promise." he said.
"oh, ok." I said with a slight bit of sarcasm. But honestly, I didnt mean for the sarcasm. "Im sorry, I didnt mean to sound sarcastic."
"Its fine." he said. The announcement came on.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I announce the Middleburg Spring races!" he announced and the crowd cheered. "On your mark, get set.......GO!!!" he said, and we took off running. I jumped one jump, then two then.."HEY!!" I screamed as another contestant took his horse and slammed it into mine.
Royces first reaction was to swerve away. I feel off the horse and hurt my leg really bad. I saw royce and he ran out the gate onto the highway. I screamed his name and got up to run after him.
But instantly, I feel down. I got out my phone and dialed my moms number. she came and picked me up and put me in the truck. The first thing she did was wrap my leg up and set off on the road, with me of course.
We went on the highway and when we got on the road we saw Royce. I got out the truck and ran to him as fast as I could. I felt a lot of pain, but I dont care. I love Royce and forever will.
Here in Virginia, the sides of our road is covered with woods.
When I went to get him, he backed away. I heard a low growl. A sound that is normally made by a bob cat. I saw it. The bob cat. I stood in front of Royce, trying to guard him from it.
The bob cat pounced at me. But Royce step out in front of me. I heard a sound I never really hear a lot. A sound of skin being ripped open. When I looked I saw that the bob cat had bit into Royce.
Sorry, I didnt wait till I had 115 followers, I just couldn't wait. I finally came up with this idea and I had to write it before I lost it. Well, u know the drill
