This chapter will briefly feature a homosexual couple. If you have an issue with this, please don't leave rude comments. It would be best for you to simply not read this one shot.
The song I have added is The Strays by Sleeping With Sirens. It doesn't really have anything to do with the story. I just think it's a good song.

(Y/n)'s PoV:

"Bye mom. I'll be back later!" I called as I opened the door. I walked to my friend Ashten's house, who lived across the street. He and his boyfriend met me on the sidewalk, hand in hand.

"Hey (Y/n)!" They both waved.

"Hey guys! You ready to go?" I asked the two. We were going to the mall, which took about ten minutes to walk to from where we lived.

"Um, duh." Ashten said in a playful tone. I childishly stuck my tongue out at the blue haired boy.

After a few moments of silent walking Ashten said "You need to hurry up and get a boyfriend (Y/n). I bet you get tired of always third-wheeling with me and Evin."

I giggled as Evin punched Ashten in the arm. He picked on me about being single quite often, so I was used to comments like this.

I was about to give him a sarcastic reply when he got a phone call. After he hung up, he looked at Evin and I. "That was my mom. She needs me and Evin's help. I am so sorry (Y/n). Do you want to walk back with us?"

I shook my head and replied "I want to get some new merch, so I'll just go to the mall alone. I'll see you guys later." The two smiled apologetically before turning to walk back to Ashten's house.

I sighed and put in one earbud. I listened to music until I got to the mall. I immediately walked to Hot Topic.

I let out a small sigh of contentment as I walked into the familiar store. I was admiring the band shirts and trying to decide which one I wanted to buy. I chose a a few t-shirts and walked around the store looking for some accessories.

While I was looking at the bracelets, a voice made me jump. "I think that one would look really good on you." I turned around to see an attractive boy pointing to one of the bracelets. I felt my face heat up as I realized how close he was to me.

"Thanks." I said, taking a small step back.

"No problem." He said smiling. "My name is Zak, by the way."

"I'm (Y/n)." I replied as I shook his outstretched hand.

"(Y/n) huh?" He paused. "I like that name. It suits you." He said casually.

"Thanks." I said. "It was a birthday present."

"That was kind of cheesy." He chuckled. "I love it."

I just sort of giggled and said "I should probably go pay for my shirts now." I waved goodbye, but he followed me to the register and checked out as well.

We walked out of the store together. Zak turned to face me and said, "Can I buy you lunch?"

"Um, sure." I replied kind of hesitantly.

He grinned as he took my hand and led us both to the food court. "What do you want to eat? I don't really care so it's up to you." He said.

"Pizza." I replied immediately.

"Pizza it is." He agreed. Zak ordered pepperoni and I got (f/p). We sat at a table and ate, talking the entire time.

He asked me to be his (boyfriend/girlfriend) two months later. I said yes.

*Time Skip*

Zak and I have been dating for about four months now. He had asked me to come over and watch Netflix with him. I agreed because who wouldn't?

I was in the kitchen making popcorn while Zak was getting the show ready. As soon as the microwave beeped I heard Zak yell. "Babe!" He whined. "I want cuudddlleess!"

I walked into the room and plopped on the couch next to him. He wrapped his arms around me as I laid my head on his chest. "What are we watching?" I asked him.

"Death Note." He replied.

I chuckled. "Of course we are." Zak had a bit of an obsession with Death Note. He could watch the series a million times over and he'd still want to watch it again. He had a poster of L and Near in his bedroom.

Near the end of the the eighth episode, I started to get a little tired. I yawned and cuddled closer to Zak. "(Y/n)." I heard him say.

"Hmm?" I replied, looking up at him.

"I love you." He said. I felt my heart beat a little faster. That was the first time he's ever said that.

I smiled sleepily and kissed him gently. I rested my head on his chest once again and said "I love you too Zak." I then fell into a very peaceful sleep.

This one shot is a lot shorter than my last one. This is just a little bit of fluff. (It's the first time I've ever really written fluff, so I know it may not be very good.) I'll try to make my next one longer. No promises though. I'll see you next time my lovely readers😙
