Jimin did not return his smile, instead his head was turned to the side as if he was inspecting Yoongi.

Their staring match was quickly cut off by the sound of Mr. Clan clearing his throat, clearly trying to get Jimin's attention.

"Sit in the back, by Yoongi." Mr. Clan ordered.

Jimin nodded his head and made his way to the back of the room, taking the seat to the right of Yoongi.

And that's when he realized, he was still staring and smiling like an idiot.

He mentally shook himself and let his usual frown cover his face once more.

Why the hell had he smiled to begin with?

Mr. Clan began to speak once more, continuing where he had left off before Jimin had burst through the door.

Usually, Yoongi would just tune Mr. Clan out like he had done so many times before. It wasn't difficult to think of something else, but now, Jimin was a distraction he didn't have to imagine.

He slowly turned his head to the right, trying his best not to alert Jimin as his eyes inspected the boy further.

He was closer now, which allowed Yoongi to see his sharp jaw, and prominent cheek bones.

His eyes still shined under the fluorescent lights, and for a moment, Yoongi wondered what they would look like under the sun.

As he continued to stare at him, beginning to lose himself in the boys appearance, Jimin turned his head to look at Yoongi.

Yoongi's heart almost literally jumped out of his chest as he quickly turned his head towards the front of the class room, a small blush creeping its way over his pale cheeks.

He didn't dare look at him again, but he could feel Jimin's eyes on him.

He cleared his throat in an attempt to ease his racing heart, and through his peripheral vision, he could see Jimin turn his head once more.

He let out a small breath he hadn't known he was holding.

As the class wore on, Jimin nor Yoongi dared look at one another again, for fear of being caught.

-

The bell rang and Yoongi quickly grabbed his things, stuffing his untouched notebook from his desk and into his bag. He slung the bag over his shoulder and almost literally ran from the classroom.

He knew Hoseok would be in Mrs. Blarn's, which would mean he would have to pass him in the hall to get to his next class.

Yoongi was clearly flustered. He hadn't known why he smiled at Jimin to begin with. He also didn't know why he had felt the need to stare at him. He had never looked at anyone like that, and when he did that weird warmth spread throughout his body.

He didn't understand the way Jimin had made him feel a way he had never felt in his entire life, just by simply looking at him.

He threw his head down in hopes that Hoseok wouldn't notice him. He also knew that his attempts would prove futile as he could hear the boys contagious laughter radiating throughout the halls.

"Yoongi!" He heard him call out.

And with a groan, he threw his head up and greeted Hoseok.

Hoseok's smile that had just been on his face moments ago, was now replaced with a look of concern.

"You alright?" He asked, worry laced in his voice.

"I'm fine, nothing to worry about." He said as nonchalantly as possible.

"I can tell when something's wrong, what's up?" He asked him.

"I'm fine, seriously. Now go to class, we'll be late." He replied quickly, trying his best to move past him.

"When have you ever actually cared whether we were on time or not?" Hoseok asked again.

Yoongi glared up at him before speaking for the last time. "I do now. Now get out of my way."

And with that Hoseok moved out of the way, and Yoongi quickly moved passed him. Finding his next class within seconds.

-

He put his head down as soon as he entered the class. Not bothering to look up at the teacher.

He made his way to the back of the room, the same thing he had done in Mr. Clan's room.

He immediately threw his head down onto the desk, allowing his arms to wrap over his head.

The bell rang and he didn't bother to look up as the teacher began to speak. He tuned the teacher out the same way he did in all of his classes.

And that's when he heard his voice again.

The same soft voice he was slowly becoming familiar with.

"Uh, my name is Jimin, Park Jimin."

Yoongi slowly moved his hands from his head as he allowed himself to look up at Jimin.

He felt the same urge he had before, tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Jimin made him want to smile.
