Two and half weeks later...
After five minutes of trying to force herself into some jeans, she knew none of them fit anymore. She threw on some sweat pants instead and threw her baggy hoodie on. She wrapped her blonde hair up and threw on her black frame glasses.
She was getting bigger.
And her parents were noticing.
She walked out of her room and went downstairs where her parents were sitting on the couch, whispering to themselves until Lillian reached the middle of the stair case.
"I'm going over to Jeans." she said since school wasn't going on today due to it snowing last night. "We're going to study together for the test on-"
"Honey," her mom cut her off. "Can we talk to you?"
Her stomach twisted and her tongue felt heavy, but she forced herself to nod and sat down at the love seat. "W-what do you want to talk about?" she asked, cursing herself in her head for stuttering.
"Well, sweetie, we...we were wondering if it was too late to talk about the bird and the bees." she said.
Oh god, they know, she panicked as she started to chew on her button lip. "What do you mean, mom?"
She sighed heavily and Lillian guessed she decided to come right out and asked, "Are you pregnant?" she asked. "We've been noticing the signs and darling, we've checked the phone bill and saw one from a boy named Ryan Miller who's you been talking to a alot on the phone..",
She started to sweat. Oh god, here it comes! she thought as she tried to remain calm. Her eyes started to water up, knowing she couldn't hide it anymore. She was showing at only three and half months. A few tears slipped out of her eyes, "I'm so sorry, mommy." she said, taking her glasses off and cried in her hands.
"Oh god," she heard her mom say and Lillian didn't want to look up to see whatever look her father could have. She was scared to see the disappointment on his face. What she didn't expect was an arm to go around her shoulders and smell her mother's perfume, "Shh, it's okay baby.", she said, putting her arms around her to comfort her.
Lillian moved her hands from her face and wrapped them around her mother's waist, crying in her chest, "I'm sooo sorry, mommy. I didn't mean for it to happen, please believe me. I get it if you're mad at me but please, don't stop loving me."
Her mom pulled back and put her hands on her face, lifting her face up to look at her, "Is that what you were so afraid of, honey? Of us not loving you anymore? That can never happen, baby. Your father and I love you so much."
"Y-you're not mad?" she asked.
Her mom stared at her for a second, "We're...shocked. I mean, sweet heart, we never thought you of all people would...get pregnant at sixteen."
"You're disappointed," Lillian said.
Again, her mom hesitated, "Yes," she said and Lillian choked on a cry. "But we still love you." her mom quickly said. "We're going to be here for you, don't worry. You never have to be scared of us not loving you."
"I'm sorry, mom. It was a big of a surprise to me, too." she said. "I didn't even mean to have sex but it just happened."
"Who is the guy?" her father finally spoke up and we turned our heads to him. He didn't look happy, "I repeat, Lillian Chelsea, who is this Ryan Miller?"
Lillian knew they weren't going to like the answer, "Jean's boyfriend."
They both took in a sharp breath and stared at her wide-eyed. "Excuse me?" her dad said, getting up. "How the hell did this happen, Lillian?" her dad practically did all but yell.
