Chapter 2
Shantelle's P.O.V.
Once I finished eating dinner and packing everything I needed for the tour it was already 2 in the morning which means I only have 2-3 hours of sleep before I have to wake up and get ready to leave. I set my alarm 4:30 A.M. and went to sleep. When I woke up I felt literally dead. I took a quick shower that actually took me 45 minutes and then finished packing anything else I might've forgot. By the time I was done it was time to go and Alice hadn't even showed up
*At airport in Dallas*
I got off the plane and got all my bags and crap, then after that I looked around the airport and found a man holding up a sign that said 'Magcon'. I went over and he asked me if I was...well me. Which of course I said yes to. We left the airport and he took me to the hotel id be spending the next week or so in. I went up to the lady at the counter and she asked for my nane
"Shantelle Figueroa."
"You're with Magcon?" She asked
"Yes." She looked at the screen and gave me a key
"Floor 10." The key had my room number on it so I got in the elavator and waited until it got to floor 10 then went to my room. I unlocked the door and just as it opened I saw 5 shirtless teenage boys standing in the living room. My eyes got wide and my mouth hung open. I recognized the boys instantly. Cameron Dallas, Nash and Hayes Grier, Aaron Carpenter, and Matthew Espinosa! I closed my mouth and puffed out my cheeks. I'm not good with conversation, I'm too shy
"Uh, hi? I am in the correct room right?" I asked quietly
"Are you with Magcon?"Nash asked, I slowly nodded and he smiled "Yup you're in the right room!" They expect me to share a room with a bunch of boys?
"Yup." Cameron said. I looked at him confused
"I said that out loud didn't I?" I asked as I felt a blush creep up my cheeks and the boys nodded "Oh."
"Well I'm Matth-" I stopped him by putting my hand up
"Oh trust me, I know who you guys are. I'm Shantelle Figueroa. I'm a-" Then Matthew cut me off
"Youtuber! I've seen your videos, you have a really nice voice." I looked down at my feet and mutteres a small
"Thank you." I'm not very good with compliments.
"So which is my room?" I asked
"About that." Matthew started "We tried to get then to change our rooms so you can sleep with Mahagony until we found out she's not coming to at least half of the tour so we had to keep the original sleeping arrangments."
"So....which one of you am I sharing a room with?"
"That would be me!" Matt piped up
"Oh okay!" I blushed once again
"Aww she's blushing! Somebody's got a crush on Matthew!" Cameron cooed
"What!? No I don't he's too old!"
"How old are you?"
"14"
"And Matt is 16. It's only two years sweetie." Cameron replied
"I'm going to my room." I stopped in my tracks not knowning where my room is. I turned to Matt ignoring Camerons gaze. "Where's our room?" He smiles slightly
"Follow me." I followed Matt to literally the last door of the whole 'room' "It's in here um you can have either bed I don't care honestly."
"Oh alright, thanks."
"And if you want the guys and I are going swimming."
"Um not it's okay....or actually yea. I'll be out in 5 minutes." Matt nodded and walked out the room so I can change. I quickly changed into my bathing suit, but put a tank top and shorts right over it. I walked out and the boys were standing there waiting for me.
"Ready?" Hayes asked. I nodded and we walked to the pool. Once we got there all the boyd but Matthew walked straight to the pool while I sat at one of the chairs Matt walked over with his phone
"Say cheese!" I smiled and be snapped the picture.
"What's that for?" I asked
"Twitter and Instagram. We have to introduce our beautiful new Magcon member!" I smiled and blushed at his comment "What's your Twitter and Instagram?" He asked. I quickly told him and started blushing once again "You like One Direction?"
"Yea always have since I was 10 or 12."
"Egh" Matt muttered
"What did you say?" I asked amused
"Nothing I just don't like them very much." I glared at him and he smiled at me. I rolled my eyes
"Whatever I'm used to those comments." He laughed and went towards the pool
"You coming?" I shook my head
"Nah, I'll just relax here." Matt shrugged
"Suit yourself." He cannonballed into the pool and when he came up his hair was stuck to his face causing me to giggle. I unlocked my phone and went to my camera taking a picture of him.
"Did you just take a picture of me?"
"Maybe...." I replied quietly. He narrowed his eyes and went over to talk and play around with the guys. I watcged as the guys swam around, almost drowned eachother, the rest of the guys boys showed up, Taylor almost cracked his head open, and then playing monkey in the middle which was pretty funny to be honest. When we went back to our rooms it was 9:50 already and I honestly was pretty hungry. I sat on the couch and Matt and Cameron came and sat by me
"How come you didn't get in the pool, Shantelle?" Cameron asked
"I just didn't feel like it. Maybe next time."
"Okay, well are you hungry?" Matt asked me. I was hungry, but I shook my head anyways saying no
"You sure?"
"Ya, I'll be fine you two go eat, you're growing boys."
"Men." Cameron corrected
"No you're 16 your boys. Don't argue with me go eat." I know Camerons not 16 but he acts like it so...
"Come with us" Matt insisted
"I'm not hungry though."
"Please?"
"I'm too lazy."
"Then I'll bring you something. Just eat okay?" I sighed giving in
"Fine" Matt smiled
"Perfect! We will be right back in like half an hour to an hour, dont go to sleep without eating!"
"Okay Matthew! Bye!" I pushed him and Cameron out the door. I went to mine and Matthews room and layed down on my bed. Before I knew it I was asleep.
