The Kiss

    After class, I grabbed Nathaniels hand, and pulled him aside as all the students were leaving. The girls gave smiles, giggled, and waved goodbye to Nathaniel, and all the boys ignored me,except the one boy with the grey eyes. He waved goodbye to me, whitch made Nathaniel angry. He growled, and clentched his fist. I turned him around, and made him face me.

" WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR!" I yelled still whispering." What?" I smacked the back of his head.

" You know what! You kissed me in font of all these people! Don't play dumb with me." I snarled." If I hadn't kissed you then wolf boy over there would have taken my girl from me." He whinned. That made butterflies in my stomache. I loved the way he said that. I gave him a smile, then grabbed his hand." Come on." I held his hand walking out of the class.He looked pretty shocked that I was the one holding his hand. He cared for me.... I missed Nathaniel so much. I finally have a friend again.

    I led Nathaniel to the lunch room, and we laughed the whole way there. One we reached the doorway we looked over at all the tables, and the people sitting at them. This plae was HUGE! I couldnt beileve my eyes." Okay...so... Where do we sit?" Nahtaniel said still holding on to my hand. We walked over to the only empty table then sat down." So... Whats happened these past years sense I was gone?" he asked looking up at me with innocent eyes." Well...Dad left mom for some girl he met on the internet. Then mom.... lost her job, and is still trying to find a new one." I said playing with my thumbs. I wasnt going to cry infront of him.

" Im sorry to hear that." He said with a bit of consideration in his voice." Whats it like?" I asked getting out of my daze." Whats what like?" he said with a confused, and concerned look on his face." The palace.... I mean whats it like being prince, and living the high life." I aksed with a smile on my face." Well, its not all that great." he said with a sigh." I have to do paper work almost al the times, and go on ivestigations on rouge vampires, not to metion torture them. I do have some free time. I usualy go to the royal garden, and look up at the stars. It reminded me of when we were kids. It reminded me of you." He smiled." When you turn 18 I will bring you back to the palace with me." Nathaniels eyes suddenly went from a violet, to a red color." I also won't be able to controll myself. Sense your my mate, when you turn 18 I will become...lets say...Agressive,protective, and more.................Your Mine, and Only Mine, kind of man." what did he mean by that? More...protective agressive, and more mine and all that, but why? Was it just cause I was his mate?
