I began to count the remaining bills I had left and it was as if nothing had been spent. After every trip I've had, I haven't had the need to spend money due to strangers giving me things when I ask. The only thing I needed and couldn't buy with money, was blood. This was the longest I had gone without it. I needed an easy way to get it. A place full of youthful, delicious, thick blood.

After going through all my options. I decided to go to a learning quarters. Its a place mortals gather to learn things for future jobs. I thinks its a nice way to determine what they want to be for their short lives.

I asked a woman at the front desk, of my living quarters, where the best place was to find one of these "Colleges" I heard about from the Television. "A college? Aren't you a little young to be going there?". I never considered what age I must be to attend one. "How old must you be to go to one?" The woman said I had to be at least 17 years old. "Oh I see, well I'm an 19 years of age so tell me quickly where I must go." Her face lost all emotion and stared off into space. "Go to main street and turn left once you see 3rd street and go all the way down."

She appeared as the other strangers had been when they gave me something I asked for. "...okay...thank you..uh as you were?", she snapped out of it and looked confused. "So this is how it works."

I continued down to main and walked down 3rd street. There were many youthful people in this area. It was so lively and full of excitement. I had also heard they had excellent libraries. Oh how I missed my books at home. "home...", Memories of Jade and I reading together filled my mind. Anger, and sorrow had been apart of me for so long.

As I was in a brooding daze, I managed to bump into a tall, raven haird man. "Are you oka-...," he said, rudely staring at my face. "I'm fine, what is wrong with your eyes?". Shocked at my snippy attitude, he recoiled. "oh sorry, you're just...breath taking.."

Breath taking? What does he mean? Am I suffocating him? "Are you well? do you need to see a medic?"

"Oh! no! I just meant..Um anyways I've never seen you on campus, are you new?"

"No, I'm just hungry, goodbye." I say while dusting myself off.

His face seemed to some what calm me. "Wait I don't know your name." He said while reaching for my hand.

"No need, I'm sure we wont meet again", I said pulling away.

"Well... I'm Andrew, I hope I do see you again." he looked at me with such a gentle gaze, so handso- oh no, no, no, no. I must leave. Now.

"I'm Crimson, goodbye now." I say while scurrying back to main street.

"I'm so hungry...I need food...college was a failure...", I wander around until sundown and find a bench at a play area for children. It was night so it was clear of mortals. "why is it so hard to find a meal here.."

I quickly realize that I'm being watched. Not by a human... no..it was something else. I get up and assert myself. "Who is there? I demand to know who you are!," The bushes start rustling and I brace myself for what I'm about to encounter.
