/// IM BACK! Oh and funny story before I start, I was looking for my charger for my phone since it was at like 2%. I stepped on some kind of metal pin thing but the edge of it was dull. On the inside I was screaming while taking it out and hopping on one foot towards where the bandaids where. 5 mins later, I was better except for when I accidentally stubbed my toe against the edge of my bed. What bad luck I have sometimes.... anyway. Coming back to the story. ///
Tom's POV
I quickly walk towards the road that I crossed at the beginning of the second task. I see the three identical guns in the middle of the road. I look left and right before swiftly moving towards the guns picking them up. I hear a honk of a car and look to see a car speeding towards me. I accidentally yelp in surprise and sprint back towards the end of the road. I feel the car's side mirror ///idk what there called. Lol /// brush past my skin. I make it to the end of the road and put two guns in my hoodie pocket and keep the third gun out. Still a bit shaken up from almost getting hit again. I look around for pine cones and see 4 on one branch. I aim the gun a bit above the one closest to the trunk of the tree. I shoot, making the gun make a loud,
BANG!!!
Making me jump a little. I see that I shot the branch that held the pine cones. I put the gun on the floor and take out a different one. I aim at the same one and a bit higher, just like last time.
BANG!!!
I pulled the trigger and watched the bullet fly towards the pine cone, breaking it into a million pieces. I place down the gun to the right of the first gun I used. Showing that it had a greater drop rate than the other one. I pull out the last gun out of my pocket and aim at the same place for a third time. Even though there was no pine cone there anymore. That was all on the floor, spread out like litter. I pull the trigger and,
BANG!!!
This time I had to watch the bullet carefully as it was flying at very quick speeds. I see it scrape the top of the branch. I place the gun down carefully to the left of the gun I used first. I step back a few paces showing that I'm done. And then I hear his voice all around me. How is he doing that?
"Good. Very good. I know that I've said that this was your last task. But I need you to complete one more. Just to be sure. Your task now, is to shoot as many pine cones as you can in 1 min. You may only use the gun with the greatest drop rate."
I pick up the gun that's all the way to the right, and hear,
"Your time starts, now."
I look towards where I shot at and saw the three pine cones still there. I aim high and shoot.
BANG!!!
I see that the bullet missed the pine cone by going under it. I try again bit a bit higher. I shoot,
BANG!!!
The pine cone explodes, showing that I hit it. I aim at the second one with the same amount of hight as I did last time and shot.
BANG!!!
The pine cone gets hit and just like the other one, it explodes. By now, I'm used to the loud banging and the kick from the gun by pulling the trigger. I aim for the last one on the branch and shoot.
BANG!!!
I see that I missed the pine cone by seeing the bullet hole in the branch. I shoot again but a bit higher.
BANG!!!
I hit my target and start looking around for others. I see another tree with a bunch of them on many branches. I sprint to it and start shooting at the pine cones. Carefully aiming a bit above.
BANG!!!
BANG!!!

I see that I hit 4 out of 6 bullets. I start shooting again. But at different ones on different branches.
BANG!!!

"30 seconds."
I hear him say. I need to stay calm and not freak out on time. I keep shooting at the pine cones around me.
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
Crack!
I hear the branch break and fall down to the floor with 7 pine cones on it. I ignore it and go back to shooting.
BANG!!!
BANG!!!

BANG!!!
"10 seconds."
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
BANG!!!
"Stop."
I put the gun down and listen for him.
"19 pine cones shot down. Some people were able to get more. But at a slower pace."
I feel a hand go on my shoulder. I yelp in surprise and spin around to see who touched me. It was Tor- Red Leader.
"Don't worry. I won't hurt you. We're boyfriends after all, correct?"
I nod as a reply, blushing lightly.
"Good. Cause you are now a Red Army Solder."
My eyes widen in surprise. I smile and say,
"Thank you, sir."
"Don't thank me. You were the one who wanted to join the army. And you've succeeded." He says looking a bit confused as to why I said 'thank you'.
"Follow me." He says.
I follow him towards the road to see the car that was used to try and hit me. He opens the door and lets me go in first. Then he closes the door and walks around to the other side and gets in beside me.
"Go back to base." He says.
The car roars to life and we start moving towards the base.
