Alone On Patrol (Chenry)

Before I get started I would like to thank Nerdsareawesome656 for helping me with  his amazing idea! Thank you once more! I know you guys are getting sick of my chit char so here you go!! Hope you enjoy this one shot!! 😁🙏😉

"Are you kidding me!?" Henry cried out to his boss Ray who had just informed him that he won't be able to make it to the patrol they usually do every Friday. Which unfortunately Ray forgot about it! And made a stupid date with a hot chick which Henry thought was a stupid reason to leave his 16 year old sidekick alone on patrol. Oh I also forgot to mention that he is flying a freaking helicopter! Which he only got one lesson for!! And now Ray thinks he could just go out by himself?

"I don't really think this is a good idea..." Charlotte then spoke up with worry already beginning to wrap around her chest like an embrace. Ray sighed and patted His young sidekick's shoulder.

"I know you can do this!" Ray began "plus I already made the date plans with Kathy so you are on your own kid!" Ray grabbed the bobcat of roses he had just bought for Kathy and ran towards the tubes and was gone in a blink.

Henry groaned in annoyance before grabbing the keys to the man copter and began to walk to the tubes. But his best friend; who was the only one thinking things through right now, stopped Henry in his tracks.

"Are you really going to do this!?" She shrieked. Her best friend only patted her on the shoulder and gave a smile. Which you could tell was a nervous one.

"Char, don't worry about it!" Henry began just as Ray did before. "I had a few lessons and I know how to ride it," Henry assured before going to his side of the tubes and tapped his belt buckle instantly being shot in mid air.

It's been about a couple moments since they had the conversation and Henry managed to get into the red and blue helicopter dressed in his uniform and placed the key into its socket. He was confused at first but then remembered it was exactly like the video games Henry and Jasper used to play together when they were younger.

"Hen, be careful!" Charlotte squeaked with her eyes closed as Henry somehow managed to get the helicopter up flying into the air. Henry smirked hiding the fact that he was very scared right now.

"I got this!" Henry assured his worried friend as he began to move the helicopter so it was gliding across the bright blue sky. It was a sunny day in the small town Swellvie and barely any crime.

The teenager didn't even know why Ray wanted him to do Patrol even when they can just sit in the man cave and search in there.

Henry smiled proudly as he glanced down at the safe and sound city that he was flying over just now. The city that he now protects. Henry has never been happier now that he was Kid Danger and not some useless kid.

"I love this!" Henry cheered turning the helicopter and laughed historically as birds bumped into the windshield.

Charlotte giggled from the other side of the line but then her eyes widened as one of the engine pieces came heaved off of the helicopter's engine.

"Doing okay? Feel anything different?" Charlotte then asked not wanting to scare Henry who was still on the copter. Henry shook his head but then began to panic as he began to hear very strange noises coming from the other engine.

"Uuuhh, Charlotte! What was that!?" He shrieked.

"Y-your engine just popped off!" Charlotte cried out instantly calling Ray. Henry screamed as the radio system went dead meaning he couldn't talk to anyone anymore. This was the scariest moment of Henry's life.

"Calm down!" Henry muttered giving himself a small pep talk but then begin to panic even harder as the helicopter began to direct downwards. Henry winced as the helicopter began to fly downwards. He looked around for a parachute and breathed heavier as he realized that there wasn't any.

Henry cursed loudly and his breath was taken as the helicopter crashed into a huge land of sand. Henry coughed at the impact and hissed in pain as the impact of the seatbelt hit his stomach. Henry was heaved out of the seatbelt and broke the windshield as he landed hard on the ground. But then all of the sudden all he could see was black.

Meanwhile...

"RAY RAY!" Charlotte cried as she raced into the restaurant that Ray and Kathy were in the middle of having dinner in. Ray groaned and excused himself from his date and rose an eyebrow at Charlotte in clear frustration. 

"If this isn't a life or death situation--"

"When Henry was flying at the helicopter the engine broke off!! He could have gotten into an accident!" Charlotte shrieked with wide eyes.

Ray instantly called off the date and raced towards the man cave. Ray turned on the camera he had placed on his sidekick and noticed the camera was on the ground in a crashed helicopter.Ray began to panic. He ran to the tubes and pressed his belt buckle instantly yelling up the tube.

Henry woke up and had tears in his eyes as his head was pounding in pain. He looked at his surroundings and realized he was in the Man Cave. Henry sat up but was instantly placed down gently. He glanced up and noticed Charlotte. Who had tears forming in her almond colored eyes.

"you are not going anywhere! You have a shattered rib!" She cried out. "Do you know how serious that is!" Charlotte implored with a tear rolling down her cheek. Henry smiled slightly and wiped it away with his thumb.

"I'm okay Charlotte." He assured.

"Everything will be okay." Henry brought Charlotte into a side hug instantly forgetting about his rib cage  causing Charlotte to instantly to get off.

"Sorry..." she apologized. Henry chuckled and gently laid her head onto his lap.
