My breath tried to catch up with me, almost as much as I tried to speed up with Copper. I didn't know who Copper was running from, or why but I trusted him to keep the both of us safe.
"Come on, Sathia. Run like you life depends on it, we don't have all fucking day." Copper practically yells
"I'm......trying...." I said as I tried to quicken up my speed.
"Well try harder"
I had tried to wonder what had gotten him in such a bad mood, was it my fault, was it me, maybe he was right I shouldn't of followed him. Then all of a sudden I saw a black shadow adjacent from my shadow. That's when I realized what Copper had been running from. I didn't dare turn around, even the look of his shadow began to give me chills. Black sweater dude was getting awfully close to me and that's when I heard Copper holler
"Sathia, Jump"
Joke was on Copper because I didn't know where to jump. I proceeded to go in the street after him, then I had understood what he meant by jump. I've always trusted Copper, so if he says jump, I'm going to jump.
I was happy for myself that I lost "black sweater dude" now all I needed was to cross the road and finally give Copper a big sweaty hug. But that's not what happened, that's not what happened at all
