Johnny and you have been dating for several months. When you're together you laugh, smile, cry, and feel genuinely happy. However, there is something that Johnny is hiding from you. And there's something you're hiding from him. What you're hiding is something you've known for since you were a young kid. You're suffering from stage 4 cancer.
You've been fighting it for so long and taking medicine everyday hoping there's some way to cure it. So far, no luck. Before you met Johnny, you were so down. So sad and depressed. You let your cancer consume your whole life. You always stayed at home because you didn't want to burden anybody with your problems. You lost most of the friends you had when you got cancer because you didn't want them to pity you. The only ones you ever talk to is your parents. That was until you met Johnny.
You and Johnny met at a gas station one day when your mom was putting gas in the car. You went into the 7/11 and looked for some candy to eat. As you looked at all the candy, a tall handsome man appeared next to you. He looked about 19 years old. He looked at you with a dashing smile and said,
"Hello there beautiful... having a hard time choosing what candy you want?"
You looked at him and nodded,
"Yeah.. too many choices. You getting any?"
He looked at you and smiled once again,
"Yeah of course I am. A growing man needs candyyy"
You laughed at him and admired him as he looked at the selection of candy on the shelf. You couldn't help but smile because of how positive of a person he was. He gave off such a happy and pure aura and all you wanted to do is be around him. After some time, he finally grabs a patch of sour patch kids off the shelf and smiles like a child.
You smirk at him and say,
"That candy is a perfect fit for you. You look like a kid smiling and even though you're not sour at all, I'm sure you're just as sweet on the inside."
He looked at you and blushed. Nobody had ever said such a thing to him and for once in his life he felt loved. You noticed him blush and smiled at yourself as you continued to look for candy. As you contemplated which one kind you wanted, Johnny hands you a pack of Sweetish Fish and says,
"Well, if you think I'm sweet, you must be sweeter."
You look at him in awe of what he just said. You smiled and blushed just the way he did a few minutes ago. Finally you respond,
"Aw you're so kind. Thank you.. umm.. I'm sorry I don't know you're name. But I'd like to..."
He looks at you and says,
"It's Johnny. And no problem at all darling. Now, let me buy those sweetish fish for the sweetish fish in the sea"
You noticed that he called you the sweetest person in the world and died internally. You never felt so loved. You walked up to the checkout with him and allowed him to pay. Once he finished, he handed you the candy.
"Thank you again for buying the candy for my Johnny... you really didn't have to do that," you said while staring deeply into his eyes.
He nods and replies,
"It's no problem at all sweetheart. My treat. But I do want to ask you for a favor.."
You look at him confused wondering what he wanted,
"Yeah sure I can.. what's up?"
He goes up to you and whispers softly in your ear,
