It was eerily silent. Magenta stared out into the darkness. There was nothing but darkness, nothing but silence. She smiles, maybe tonight they'll leave me alone... Laughter echoes throughout the spacious forest, it felt like it was going through her ears. Magenta's smile drops as she turns to look at the blurred face.

"Magenta," he whispered. His voice rumbled like thunder, low and deep. It fell from his lips like water. She shivered as she felt him slink behind her, cold air pushing on her back. "I've missed you..." he cradled a knife against her smooth skin.

"Oh God," she lets in a shaky breath and turns to look at the knife in his hand. The word 'depression' was written on it. Her magenta eyes went back up to the blurred face. It held a smile and then she felt a twisting pain in her chest. Magenta let out a shaky gasp before looking down and seeing black blood seep from her shirt.

"Yep, I've missed this." A smile of daggers gleams in the corner of her eye. Magenta sucks in a deep breath, closing her eyes. She didn't know why he always wanted to finish her off. "Seeing your blood pool will be the most glorious sight I've ever seen," something about his voice. It was too... eccentric for something like this.

"You really get off on this don't you," she says and stares up at the foreboding sky. Her voice was monotone-the emptiness instilled in her. The feeling of dominos falling into place, maybe this was meant to happen. She closed her eyes and waited for it to happen. Unlike what people write in books, you see white when you die.

"Fuck, Magenta wake up!" She was spat back into reality. Her eyes flung open as she turns and looks at her boyfriend, Edgar with his dark hair and dark eyes. The pale face with the dark makeup looks at her blankly. Magenta sighs and pulls herself up, using Edgar to level her. "Jesus, why do you always do this?" He asks.

"I don't know," she replied with a small smile on her face. Edgar just stares blankly back at her, his lips in a line. "Sorry," she sighs as her shoulders drop. A ringtone erupts from somewhere in the room, nails scratching chalkboard. Magenta presses her hands firmly to her ears, something runs down her face. Her hand swipes below her nose and comes back with black blood.

"You can't escape me."

Her eyes waiver for a second before seeing nothing. There was no black blood on her hand, she didn't feel it on her face. The palm of her hand was just like they always were-cold and slightly sweaty. Magenta's heart murmurs, and she chokes on a breath. Eyes peak from somewhere in the room at her and she whips her head around.

"Magenta..."

"Magenta!"

She sucks in a breath before releasing a sob. What's wrong with me? It felt as though a vacuum were sucking the breath from her. Drawing thin lines across her sight. Tears welled in her eyes as she tried to push past the metal bars. Lemons.

Stinging pain unleashed within her as she let out a pained howl. Her head lolled and she looked up at the flickering ceiling. Black. White. Black. White. Black. White. Black...

"You're not planning on leaving, are you?" That sharp smile, those black eyes. He was a human shark, funny, she'd always thought sharks were cool. This bastard is not cool or anything of the sort... she looks him up and down, what's up with him and black? Perhaps it was just for... ominous purposes.

"Black is my color." The blur reads her eyes and looks at her, the jagged smile something not even the Joker could pull. Cold, pin needle fingers caress her cheeks. Her heart slows and her mind fuzzes. "Magenta," his voice sings. "Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. Tick... tock." The knife.

"Please," she begs. "Please don't do this!" Her lips pull into a frown and watches him fondle the knife. It was like a baby to him, she imagined him cooing at it. Last moment laugh, she lets out a laugh just because of that.
