*Shiro's POV*
"Oi, Naru-kun" I said making Naruto looked over at me confused until I pointed at all the trees "look what's around you, big ass trees" I said making Naruto giggle softly at what I said. Naruto continued to try his best to climb the tree, I looked back up at the tree and decided to climb it with no hands "hey, this isn't that bad!" I herd the cockroach yell making me look down at the little cockroach who was on a branch, I ignored what Kakashi-sensei was talking about to Naruto, Sasuke, and the cockroach.
"Wait, were is Shiro-kun?" Naruto asked, "up here!" I called down from the top of the tree I was on making everyone look up at me "wow! You did awesome Shiro-kun, believe it!" Naruto shouted with awe and with slight jealously, "thanks Naru-kun!" I said back grinning as I walked down the tree. As I reached the bottom, Kakashi-sensei told that me and the cockroach could go and help Tazuna with building the bridge while the others still train.
~scene change~
Me and the cockroach was walking around through the small village that barely had anything, I felt a tug on my tail so I turned around to yell at the person and noticed a small boy with fox ears and two or three fox tails making me shocked. "C-can I have some food mister?" The little boy said weakly his eyes showing hope. I bend down to the little boy's height and grabbed something my weapons pouch.
I pulled out my lunch I was gonna eat later but this kid looked like it was needing it more so I held it in front of the boy's face, the little boy had a shocked look as he shyly reached for the food "T-thank you mister" the boy whispered as he grabbed the paper bag that was filled up with food and pulled it to his chest, "no problem kiddo" I said softly as I reached put a hand on the boy's head and started to run my hand through it. The little boy once more had a look of shock before he started purring when my hand touched one of his fox ears, I lightly smiled as I suddenly felt the young boy go into my chest and nuzzled my stomach with his nose as he continued to purr loudly, as I continued to run my hand through his hair.
I stopped running my hand through the boy's hair which made him whine at the lost of contact on his head which made me chuckle in amusement, "what's your name, kiddo?" I asked kindly, "my name is Shū Kitsune!" The little boy now named Shū introduced. "Seems like I found another survivor of my clan" I said softly making Shū give a look of shock and excitement "really?! What's your name mister!" He asked, "my name's Shiro Kitsune" I answered making Shū gasp in excitement as he nuzzled his head into my stomach, "I-I have a family member" Shū whispered happily as tears rolled down his face. I softly smiled as I felt tears glaze over my eyes, "can I call you Tou-san? Since I never had one before" Shū asked shyly making me freeze in shock at the question. I bit my bottom lip, "of course I'll be your Tou-san" I whispered making Shū looked up at me, I picked Shū up making me wrap his arms around my neck, nuzzling his face in the crook of my neck.
~timeskip no jutsu~
I entered the house that me and my team has been staying at for about a couple of hours, "I'm back" I called back but not to loudly since Shū fell asleep on the way here "where were you Shiro-kun?" the cocktail asked me. "I'll tell you guys later" I said making the cockroach and Kakashi-sensei nod, I then went upstairs to the bedroom I was sharing with Kakashi-sensei.
Once I entered the bedroom I gently woke up Shū telling him to go to the bathroom, which made him go to the said place as I grabbed him some of my old clothes that I usually kept just in case, I then went into the bathroom noticing that Shū was on the toilet seat waiting for me. Shū noticed me which made his ears perk up with happiness, I softly chuckled as I took off the rags he was wearing and placed him in the bathroom that was suddenly filled up with warm water. Shū looked up at me with a confused look until he was suddenly had water in a cup dunked on him.
I laughed softly as I continued to do that a couple of more times before putting the cup beside me before grabbing the shampoo, I put some of the so called shampoo and started scrubbing it in Shū's hair making him purr loudly with happiness as I did so.
~timeskip no jutsu~
Once the bath was done I cleaned up the wet floor and threw his old rags into the trash can, I looked over at Shū which who was wearing a pair of one my boxers that I accidentally shrunk some how, and he was wearing a t-shirt that showed his left shoulder. Shū yawned quietly "tired?" I asked softly as I picked him up and off of the toilet seat before exiting the bathroom as I herd Shū yawned again "Hai, Tou-san" Shū said tiredly making me lightly smile.
I set Shū down onto my bed that was on my side of the room, I watched as Shū got under the covers and instantly fell asleep as his head hit the pillow. I lightly smiled at the young boy before laying down beside him.
I yawned quietly as I rolled onto my side pulling Shū to my chest "good night" I whispered as I fell asleep.
