Chapter 3

"Calm down" a guys voice said.

"How the fuck did you get in my car" I yelled.

"Your car was unlocked" he said.

"Oh" I replied.

He looked around my age. He had bright green eyes and dark brown messy hair. He also had his left arm filled with tattoos.

"I'm Jayden, and you are?" Jayden said.

"Lyric" I mumbled.

"Okay nice to meet you, why are you sleeping in your car in a lot. Did something happen?" He asked.

He leaned his head against the passenger side seat like a little boy.

"Do I have to say it?" I said.

"So my mom left for a store and I was home alone with my step dad and he raped me then I ran away and they still don't know" I muttered.

"And that's why I left my family, I don't wanna see them anymore" I mumbled and looked at him.

"You could always stay with me until you find a place to stay" he said.

"Wait how did you find me" I mumbled.

"I was walking through town with a couple of friends and since you don't have tinted windows I seen you sleeping" he said and started the car.
