"Are you sure?" - Tikkie asked
"I don't... I... You know I like Adrien"
"But?"
"There's no 'but' Tikkie. Sure Chat has his charm and he's loving and has showed he's willing to sacrifice himself for me, but, he gets on my nerves, he can't be serious for more than 10 minutes and you know how annoying he can be. Plus, I don't even know who he is"
"And do you know who Adrien is?"
"What? Of course I know Adrien, I love him!"
"Hey, no need to get defensive Marinette"
"I'm sorry Tikkie, you know when it comes to Adrien I just..."
"Yeah I know..." - Tikkie sighed "Marinette let me tell you something about love. Infatuation, is when you know how great someone can be, it's when you know a person's qualities and wanna be with them. Love, on the other hand, is when you know how mean someone can be, it's when you know a person's flaws but despite that, want to keep them in your life. Do you see what I'm trying to say?"
"But I know Adrien!"
"Do you really?"
"Yes, in fact, I love him so much I can't even stand the thought of him being with someone else other than me"
"I know that, don't forget I'm always with you" - Tikkie giggled "But what about Chat? You got so jealous of him and Volpina"
"I mean, I wouldn't say jealous, I was just trying to protect him from someone who was part of the bad guys"
Tikkie stares at her oblivious
"Ok maybe I got a bit jealous. But I wouldn't mind if Chat got together with someone else. As long as he's happy" - Marinette says staring at floor, she's starting to actually understand what Tikkie is trying to tell her
"Marinette, you know I don't wanna come across the wrong way with this conversation, it's just hard to see my friend in this position. I'm just trying to help you"
"No, it's ok... You do have a point..."
