Shailene's POV
I awake on the cold early morning of November. It's raining outside (of course) and the lovely heavenly smell of bacon and eggs wafts into my bedroom that I share with my husband; Theo James. We have been married for exactly 2 years and I have loved every single minute of it. I hear his footsteps as they loudly come upstairs into our bedroom. His perfect face peeps out from the door. "Want some breakfast honey?" He asks sweetly. I nod with enthusiasm. "Hungry would be an under exaggeration" I reply. He laughs at me; flashing his perfect pearly white teeth. "Well c'mon then" he says, pulling me up from the bed and leading me into the kitchen.
"I know where the kitchen is Theo" I say to him as he seats me at the kitchen table- pushing my chair in and everything. He's acting really weird. "Want some help?" I ask as he juggles orange juice, glasses and plates around. "Nope I'm fine" he says concentrating. I nervously laugh. "Ok then."
Theo's POV
I hope she isn't noticing anything I think to myself. Today's the day I'm gonna ask her- and I'm freaking out about it. "Um Shai?" I ask nervously as we eat our bacon and eggs. "Mhm?" She replies- muffled from the eggs in her mouth. "I've been thinking-" I start and then she cuts me off "Me too." I look at her nervously- does she know what I'm about to ask her? "But you go first" she finishes. I take a deep breath "I was wondering if you were ready to- you know... Have a baby?" I lower my head so I can't see her reaction. What if she says no?
Shai's POV
He asked me to have a baby with him. He's a freaking mind reader- that's what I was gonna ask him! "Just so you know I was gonna ask that too" I reply, grinning at him. His face lights up. "Really?!" he asks enthusiastically. I laugh at his response. I made him happy. "Yes really!" I say happily. Then, with the blink of an eye he goes from being happy to now sad.
