~Emrys' POV~
I finish packing the last of my clothes, "are you sure you, don't want to take the first year at home" Dad bugs. I love my dad, but he really needs to calm down "Dad, i'm going to college on campus, i'm only an hour outside the city, i'll be fine" I reassure him for the millionth time. "we can come visit you right?" Mom asks "No, I don't wanna see your faces, you'll just embarass me" I say jokingly..but by the looks of their faces they didn't take it as a joke "Yes, you can come visit me" I groan, taking my suitcase downstairs, Dad follows close behind me "Dad, what'd I say about trailing me?" I giggle, turning around to peck his cheek, wrapping my arms around his waist "I'll be back, okay?" He wraps his arms around me, nuzzling into my hair "i'm gonna miss you baby girl" He mumbles "I think I already knew that" I tell him "now let me give mom a hug too, you greedy old man~" his jaw drops, as I giggle "Ice, she just called me old" He complains, "I can't disagree" Mom says giggling, pulling me into a hug. He smiles "Brats~ Maybe I want you both gone" he says teasingly, wrapping his arms around us. I can tell he's trying not to cry, i've always been a daddy's girl.
Soon enough, our hug must be broken and I give a sad smile. "Do you want a ride?" Dad says with a pout..he's really gonna make this hard for me huh? "No dad, I've got my own car" I remind him, starting out the door
••Den's POV••
I sniffle as my baby girl starts out the door..she's leaving, my little girl, my princess, my reason to smile..at least I still have Ice, he's not allowed to leave me. I wrap an arm around his waist as Emrys leaves and watch out the window as she drives away. Tears brim in my eyes and I reach up to wipe them away. I feel Emil's soft hands reach up and replace mine with his, wiping my tears away for me. "Don't worry Mathias, she'll be back before you know it" he reassures me. I smile weakly at him, pulling him into a tight embrace "I love you" I say softly, nuzzling into his wintered hair. "I love you too" he replies
