It's not going to be same again

Chapter 7

“Hey Nara, are you feeling okay? You don’t seem to enjoy your meal” asked Maria.

“It’s nothing, just I’m over-stressed now” replied Nara.

“You shouldn’t think too much. It could affect your mentality” said Siti.

“Take a break Nara. Enjoy your meal first. Have a relax mind” said Nurul.

For a while Nara was in deep thinking.

Then she got up and said, “I want to go meet with Azlan and...” “WHAT!?!?!?” shouted Maria.

Nurul dropped her spoon that she was holding.

Siti just stared at her with amazement.

“You want to meet him? FOR WHAT?” asked Nurul.

“Well, I had something to deal with him for now. You girls can wait here. I’ll be back” replied Nara, leaving the cafeteria.

“I had bad feelings on her, I hope she won’t go messing with him again” said Siti.

“She better avoid troubling herself again” said Maria.

“Let’s hope she won’t cause any more fights with him” said Nurul.

Nara went on searching for him. Only to find him, sitting on a bench, starring at the fountain.

“Excuse me, mind if I talk with you for a while?” asked Nara.

For a while, Azlan ignored her but then he turned his face to her.

“What do you want?” asked Azlan.

“I just want to talk with you for a moment” said Nara.

“For what?” asked Azlan.

“Just please, no more fights. Okay? I just want to talk with you” said Nara.

“It’ll be waste of my time talking to you” said Azlan, looking back at the fountain.

“Why are you starring into that fountain?” asked Nara.

“None of you matter” answered Azlan.

“Is there something bothering you?” asked Nara.

“Nothing” replied Azlan.

Then he stood up and walked away.

Nara stood over there, looking at the fountain.

Then she walked back to the cafeteria.

“Nara! You’re back. Thank God” said Maria.

“We were hoping that you won’t come across to fight with him” said Siti.

“We were so worried about you, you know that?” said Nurul.

“No need to be worried of me girls, it’s going to be fine” said Nara, calming them down.

“How can you called it’s fine when he already got you into the hospital for one month?” asked Siti.  

“Ah, forget about that. No need to think about the past for now” said Nara. “Yeah, we better be” said Nurul.

“Hey Nara, mind if you lend me your math notebook?” asked Siti.

“Yea, sure” said Nara, giving her math notebook.

“Thanks for the notebook, surely your handwriting is better than mine” said Siti.

“Oh, that’s just normal. By the way, can we go to the library during the free periods?” asked Nara.

“Sure, so as long you had the permission granted by the teacher” said Maria.

“Nice, I will be heading over there for a while. You girls want to come with me?” said Nara.

“No thanks, I had some pain in my right leg. Siti is kind of busy with her work”

Siti made a groan voice.

Nurul laughed and continued “Maria is not feeling well here”

“Okay, be well soon” said Nara.

“Thanks” said Nurul and Maria.

“HOW CAN WE SOLVE THIS?! I ate too much I guess, that’s why I can’t think properly” said Nara in low voice.

For a time she was sitting in the library, trying to solve the Science questions.

“Mind if I seat here?” asked one boy, suddenly.

“Yea, sure” said Nara, without lifting her head up.

“What had brought you here at such time like this?” asked the boy.

“Trying to solve this!” said Nara, frustrated.

“Let me see that” asked the boy.

Nara lifted her head.

Totally shock, she dropped her pencil to the floor.

It was Azlan.

“Got any problem with me?” asked Azlan.

“No” said Nara, looking back at her notebook.

Azlan snatched her notebook quickly. Nara was about to stop him when Azlan took a look at her notebook.

“Hmm…this question which you have problem? It’s easy” said Azlan, after seeing the empty question she left.

Azlan took about 7 minutes and then returned it to her, saying “Here’s the answer. Science is not that much hard if you take interest in it”

“Thanks” said Nara, slowly.

“What?” asked Azlan.

“Nothing” said Nara, looking back at her notebook.

“You what?” asked Maria.

“It wasn’t my fault, he took it very quickly. He’s quite fast” said Nara.

“Show me what he did” said Maria.

Nara took her science notebook and gave it to her.

“Nice, did he say anything after that?” said Maria.

“He said nothing more. He just did it and gave it to me. That’s all” said Nara.

“Really…?” asked Maria suspiciously.

“Yea, only that” said Nara.

“I will see after this” said Maria.

“You will” said Nara. Both of them burst in laughter.

“What happened?” asked Nurul, turning her head around.

“You girls can’t keep your laugh in low voice, can you?” said Siti.

“Nothing happened. We just cracked a joke” said Nara.
