"such wild cornsilk hair must be adorned with the earths treasures"

rippling crystal water lapped against rocks outside of the floor length windows, it's a beautiful view from our table all I want is to explore it. I spent most of lunch glazing out to the sea, pushing around what was left of the mushroom risotto on my plate "I may I be excused" I say looking up, "go" he says with the wave of his hand.
Placing my boots at the top of rocky bank, as I make my way down to the water barefoot. Tiny little crabs scurry from rock to rock and periwinkles cling to the sides that reach the water. The air is fresh of salt and the seabirds chime perfect harmonies. "I haven't you seen you around here before" a deep voice says out of nowhere, startled I take a step back almost slipping into the rock pool. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" his says extending his large hand to me, I hesitantly reach for his hand "there is no need to be sorry, I've always been clumsy and apparently awkward" I say trying to laugh it off feeling embarrassed. "who are you?" he asked, his eye gleamed such a bright shade of blue as if they captured the reflection of the ocean. "Luxe" I say smiling up at him, when he smiled back I felt my heart warm up, losing all the words I wish to have spoken "Robbie, Robert Anthony Scot Mason" "long name?" I query, looking down at my hand nervously realizing it was still intertwined with his. "my father wanted me to have his full name, as a part of me" Robbie says with such confidence. "here" he says placing a large black and white feather in my hair, gently stroking my cheek as his hand pulls away "such wild cornsilk hair must be adorned with the earths treasures". "thank you, I have to go though I'm meant to be somewhere" I say standing up slowly. "we will meet again?" he yelled out in question "if that's what fate beholds" I yell in return.
