Office Secretary
Ch. 1
I walked into his office, expecting him to be sitting at his desk, doing paperwork or something. Instead he was standing in the middle of the room, shirtless. His back was facing me.
“Uhm… s-sir?” I called his name cautiously.
“Come. Here.” He breathed heavily. I took hesitant steps toward him.
“Uh-um, sir, you have a letter.” I said, holding out the paper for him. He snatched it out of my hands and threw it at the wall.
“Close the shades.” He commanded. I rushed to the windows and closed their blinds.
“Lock the door.” I did that and went back to him.
“Take your shirt off.” My eyes widened at this.
“W-what?!” I blushed. “Uhm, sir, w-we’re at work. Th-that’s kinda inappropriate…”
A smile snaked its way onto his face as blood began to trickle down his back onto the hardwood floor. His skin turned a cold snow white and his eyes a deep burgendy red. Long black tentacles stretched from his back, a milky white slime dripping from them. I backed away from him in fear.
“S-sir, I-I-I…y-you a-a-and…” I couldn’t get my words out. Shock invaded my system as the tentacles shot towards me. One of them wrapped around my ankle and pulled it out from under me, making me fall backwards. My head hit the ground with such intensity, it sent goosebumps down to my feet. My head throbbed, sending waves of pain throughout my entire being. The darkness swallowed me as I was engulfed in a blanket of heat.
