Chapter 1

The bell rang aloud as the group made there way out of the Boars Hat and into the hot sun.

Meliodas, Ban, hawk and Gother all waved bye to King and Diane from the path they now walked on. It lead to a village in which they would gain supplies and restock.

"What are we even looking in buying? There's enough food in this forest running on four legs to fill up storage. Plus it probably taste better too" Ban said kicking a rock that laid on the path. He really didn't feel like running around a village. He'd rather play a hunting game.

"I believe the captain means to buy rice and ale" Gother said pointing a finger in the air. He honestly didn't really care ether way. But the only reason he tagged along to the village was to watch the town folk interact with each other. He found it fascinating.

"Yes I do. Nether of which I have seen run on four legs, Ban",Meliodas chimed in. Supples had been running low as the amount of costumers never seemed to decrease. So this trip was much needed in his eyes, as the owner.

"You think I don't know that!" Ban yelled as Meliodas spoke under his breath.

"Although it might be entertaining"

"Both of you quit fighting it's hurting my ears" Hawk said as he walked ahead of them.

Meliodas hearing the comment pointed to hawk and looked at Ban "Hey I think I found some of that food you were talking about" hawk honked loudly and ran further ahead.

"Your not making chopped pork of me" he yelled but was soon abruptly stopped by fence in which he ran full force into. He now laid on the ground whining. Convicted the dragon sin would turn him into one of his disgusting dishs.

"We seemed to have arrived at the village" Gother stated. The sound of chatter meet there ears and Meliodas smiled and turned to his friends.

"Yeah thanks captain obvious" ban said but his insult was ignored by both man and pig.

"Okay I mean to keep this visit short so I think it's better if we split up. Divide and conquer you know? We can meet back up at a small pub I heard about at the far side of the village, for lunch!",Meliodas said handing a list to Ban. "Me and Gother will get the ale you and Hawk get the rice and eggs. Got it?"

As the spilt up both party's got to business. Meliodas got to work taste testing and placing orders for ale. Gother mostly watched the activities of the village folk. Ban, on the other hand, had picked up many items in shops and tossed them in a large bag. What he did and didn't pay for was unknown.

Soon Hawk had grown hungry and wouldn't quit complaining until Ban gave in a headed towards the small pub as the captain instructed.

After a long day Meliodas and Gother had already commandeered a table and ordered when the two came in. Now reunited they all laughed and ate lunch.

"So have you gotten all you needed captain?" Ban asked downing another drink. Meliodas looked up from his food.

"Yeah mostly. I just want to hit one more place before we go back. Its a small store shouldn't take to long." He said in a thoughtful tone. "Although I don't want to be out to much longer".

"We have been away all day. It would be rude to King and Diane if we weren't back by at least sunset" Gother said thinking aloud.

"Are you kidding?" Hawk said stuffing his face, "King is probably enjoying every second of it" he spoke loudly enough to catch the attention of a near by listener.

She heard the familiar names of two of the seven deadly sins and leaned closer to hear there conversation. They had no idea and were completely oblivious to her eavesdropping.
