Natsu's P.O.V:

I've failed.

My mission, our guild.

I failed.

Why did god send me on a decade quest if he knew I'd fail?

I look up to see something.

Right before me is the guildhall.

They've probably heard the news, my failure.

I couldn't face them again.

Before I could even think twice, a crying Erza is running towards me.

A crying Erza is a rare sight.

I pulled Erza into a sisterly brotherly type hug.

"Shhh, what's wrong?" I asked trying to comfort her.

This Erza Scarlet looks different than she did 7 years ago.

I could tell her hair hadn't been cut, she looked slightly older.

Wow, did everyone age like this?

"Lucy, she's missing!" Her words cut into me like knives.

I pushed her away, my eyes wide, she was shocked at my behavior.

Without warning, I barged into the guild to see sad faces on everyone, except Lissana, she grinned evilly in the corner of it all.

To see a smirk on Lissana's face infuriated me.

To smirk at this moment?

I felt  depressed, yet filled with fury.

Seeing the suspicion Lissana held, I grabbed her by the collar and dragged her into the infirmary.

"WHY THE HECK ARE YOU SMIRKING LIKE THAT?" I yell at Lissana.

She batted her eyelashes all innocent like and continued an innocent tone.

"Whatever do you mean?"

"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! LUCY IS MISSING AND YOU'RE SITTING IN THE CORNER OF SOBBING PEOPLE WITH A SMIRK ON YOUR FACE!" I yelled, fury fueling my vocals.

She smirked an before I knew it she was puckering her lips, slowly extending her head, as if she wanted me to prepare to kiss her back. 

I pushed her lips away with the back of my hand and gave her a serious look.

"But how?" Lissana asked surprised.

"How what?" I raised an eyebrow at her.

"I thought that if I get rid of Lucy, you'd love me instead." She admitted, at the verge of tears.

I raised an eyebrow, this time out of anger and fury.

With that I slap Lissana across the face.

I know, they say "don't slap a girl," but I didn't care at that moment.

Lissana nodded her head, holding her cheek, as if she understood my reasoning for my action.

"What exactly did you do to her?" I question, quite loudly.

                                                 ~~Flashback~~

Lissana's P.O.V:

I saw Lucy sitting all alone in the corner of the guild.

Probably thinking.

She started to tap her finger on the bar.

Certainly thinking.

This was my time.

I pulled out the flier.

I smirked evilly as my smirk turned into a  fake frown once I approached Lucy.

"Hi Lucy." I continued my fake sad act.

"Aww Hi Lissana, is everything ok?" Lucy, being the sweetheart she is, asked me, studying my frown.

"I need someone to talk to." I started. "Alone." I made a fake pout.

"Well that person could be me!" She chuckled trying to lighten the mood.

"Aww, thanks Lu!" I beamed.

I grabbed her hand and we both ran to the Sakura tree. Just like last time.

Once we stopped running, I punched Lucy in the gut, hard, as she was knocked unconscious.

I flung her over my shoulder, and read the address on the flier.

Once we had reached the guildhall, I sold her as a slave to the dark guild.

This dark guild was pretty new.

It goes by the name: Anti Tigers.

This guild really has some bad blood with Sabertooth.

A part of me knew this was wrong but all I wanted was Natsu's love.

And with that I left the guild, pretending nothing happened.

~End Of Flashback~

Natsu's P.O.V:

"Once I got back to the guildhall that day, I lied and said she had gone missing and that I looked for her for hours." Lissana ended.

My eyebrow twitched.

My teeth gritted.

My fists clenched.

"And when was this lie born?" I started angrily through gritted teeth.

"2 years ago."

I rested my face in my hands.

"After hearing you were returning, all it did was remind the other's of Lucy's "disappearance"." She air quoted the word disappearance.

"We're going to go find Lucy." I stated. Lissana smiled and nodded.

"But once we find her," She continued to smile and nod. "Our entire friendship is gone."

Cliffhanger! Sorry I don't feel a bit bad about giving y'all cliffhangers all the time
