chapter 1

I walk up the road listening to music and I guess I wasn't paying attention because i ran into someone. I looked up to see a troll. He was super short and had freckles. His horns were really small. Like nubbs. He looked at me and turned bright red. 'Maybe he's sick' I thought. I scoffed at him and kept walking.

*be the Nubby horned troll*

   I was walking down the road and I guess I was walking to fast. I ran into someone. He was much taller but seemed to be my age. I saw his face and he was very good looking. I guess I started blushing bc he looked at me weird and I think he scoffed at me? I walked away and so did the blonde. "What was his problem. Never seen a troll before?" I didn't want to go to school. I hated it. I was picked on by the other trolls BC my blood was different. Why cant I have normal troll blood, instead i have red blood, I'm a disgrace to trolls. I get to school and walk into the office. The principal leads me over to a small chair. And tells me to wait for an officer helper. Apparently they show you around and help you out. Also I was told the helper was in 3 of my classes. Oh I hope its not another troll. The door slowly opened. "You?" I looked at the blonde in front of me. He was the guy I bumped into outside.

I walked into the office slowly when all of the sudden I hear a voice say "You?" I turn to see the troll that I had bumped into earlier. He stands up and stares at the floor. "I'M KARKAT VANTAS, ITS NICE TO MEET YOU OR WHATEVER." He practically whispered the last part. But I still heard him. I can't believe I have to show a troll around. He's rude also.  "I'm Dave Strider, I guess I'm your helper." It was going to be a long day. I walked out of the office and Karkat followed a little distant. 'What's up with him' I thought. Wait shut up Dave you don't care about this short troll.  Besides there were a lot of trolls in this school. He's bound to fit in without me. After the 'tour' we both had first bell together. I sat in the very middle and Karkat seemed to go to the back right of the class. All of a sudden 3 trolls walked in. They saw him and walked over to him. They talked till class started. I guess he rally doesn't need me. Wait I don't care. He's a troll.

First bell started and I was glad to get away from Dave. I don't think he likes me. I sat at the very back of the room in a corner. My heart almost sank when I locked eyes with 3 other trolls. Their names were Kanaya, Sollux, and Eridan. They hated me BC of my blood. They told me to stay away from them or he'd regret it. But first they needed to take care of something. Eridan spoke. "Meet us on the football field right after school. Or else." Sollux was about to say something but the bell rang. He glared at me then went to his seat. Time for my first day in hell.
