Prologue

The beauty in the world, is created because of Allah. No one else could have created such a beautiful world, then give us three holy books (Qu'ran, Torah and The Bible.)

Perfect books for the time, and for the people.

Then, he gave us simple rules to follow. No lying, no cheating, no gambling, dress modestly, etc.

That, became slowly harder over time, as wars began and religious wars became the norm.

I personally believe that people can get along, without war, whatever their religion is, but that's just my opinion.

You think that I'm 'oppressed' and I need to be saved, when I wear my hijab, but guess what? It is completely my choice whether I wear the hijab or not, because you cannot force a person to wear hijab.

In this country, at least.

In other countries, guess what? it might not be a choice, but don't assume that they are 'oppressed' women that need liberated. Get to know them as people first, before assuming anything.

My name is Musamma, and I used to be one of those people, who were called 'oppressed' but really wasn't. I came from a small village, in Pakistan, where the people were always smiling, even in times of hardship because Allah gave us life, and we needed to appreciate it.

This is my story, even if you have heard it a million times, it is mine.
