Mi gente!
Thank you for choosing to read this book and thank you even more for taking time to read this a/n.
Anyway what I want to say is that this story is based on a true one. Of course since it's in a fictional world, I will add more than what really happened to keep it interesting and just because I want too.
So in 2015-2016 a series of events happened and I want to share it with you guys: my fellow Wattpaders (idk if it's a actual word...oh well). It's up too you guys to figure out what was real or not. It's not a challenge but whether the events were true or not it's up to you guys *shrugs*.
Back to another main point I wanted to talk about. This book will have a lot of diversity. If you haven't figured it out by now, well the main character is Latina. Mind blown, you can thank me later. Other characters will be many other races. Mixed or full or just simply them, they will be there. And as we know much discrimination goes along with those beautifully different colors, cultures, beliefs etc.. There shall be slight, very slight.......racism. *holds hands in defeat* don't hate me just yet. I'm trying to make this story as realistic as I can. I am a fellow Hispanic (who is only half, not full, Mexican thank ye very much) and I've dealt with all those insults too. Now I don't want you guys, whether in the Latino community or not, to feel awkward or just plain offended. So for my sake and yours viewer (readers?) discretion is advised. No not with sexual scenes but with SLIGHT racist scenes. I AM NOT IN FAVOR OF DISCRIMINATION. Absolutely against it. But as Bianca embarks on her journey, there shall be those harsh words, stares and names.
Another topic is that I got the idea of this story-sharing-through-my-book, early 2016. I only wrote maybe a chapter or two but I discontinued. A year later I'm back and going at it in full throttle...or at least thought until 5 chapters later. I got kinda disappointed when I hardly had any views and no votes. But now I'm going through those chapters and improving them. Bit by bit, but you'll see them.
What else do I need to go over? Mmmhhh... oh! There shall be maybe some scenes that may or may not trigger people? I'm not sure if those scenes can or can't but I'll find out and warn you guys ahead of time. But don't worry about it right now. You'll see of it much later on.
I'm kind of scared to start. I want this story to come out as close as perfect as it can be. I'm only a sophmore and I had this idea when I was in 8th grade. It's kinda scary. Especially since that 8th grade year is still roaming around today. I don't really know why I'm telling you guys this because A.) You'll just skip over this and B.) I don't really share my feelings that good. I feel like it's a good thing though, to let you guys know this little secret. Speaking of secrets no one, beside my best friend, knows I'm writing this book right now. So my encouragement will come from you guys. Yea there's no pressure there.
RANDoM FaCt: My original names for my characters were Bianca and Alex. I changed Bianca's name because I wanted something a bit more original because my first semester I had this girl in my class with that same name and found more Bianca's in Wattpad. So i was like yea, no. I changed Alex's because well, because an author has to do what an author has to do.
Anyway thank you for clicking on that orange tab button, thingy and seeing this story of Alma and Carson.
The two clashed into each other's life and certainly made an impact. I know that personally ;)
