*Lucy's P.O.V*

Music. Sometimes music is the only escape. Like for me, Lucy Smith. Since I was little I always liked to play music with my Dad. He'd sung and I played piano or guitar, which I both learned how to play from my Mom. When I was about 7 my Dad teached me how to play the drums. Around this time I also started writing my own songs but I never got one really finished, mostly lyrics without music or the other way around. When my parents died I was 9. I know now they were shot by an criminal at a meeting of many firms. I lived in many orphanages and families but every time not longer than a year because I was 'too much trouble'. But now here I am thinking about just a little time for me and the brilliant thing that is called the piano.

But no, some kid has to come in here and run around the shop.

'Well, you work in a music shop. What do you think is going to happen?!', my inner voice reminds me.

When I first came here to get a job I thought of listening to or playing music all day long, but turns out I have to show all kinds of instruments to people from high to a young age and most of the time they can't even play this instrument, they just wanna 'try it out'.

"Hello, welcome to the Walker's Music Shop. How can I help you?", I tried to gain the attention of the little girl.

"Hello! I'm here with my cousin. He wants to buy a new guitar."

"Ok, the guitar section is right there. Do you have a question yourself?" I waited for the girl to reply but instead a male voice spoke up.

"Anna! What did I tell you about running away when we go into town? Well," he turned to me, "I'm really sorry if she caused any trouble. But back to the reason I'm here.. I'd like to buy a new guitar." The boy smiled at me once he finished talking and I couldn't help but stare at his figure. Tall, blonde hair swept up to the side, dark clothes and a lip piercing. But what caught my stare were his bright blue eyes. I was snapped out of my thoughts when he took the little girl's hand in his.

"As I already told your cousin, the guitar section is right there. Do you need any help picking a guitar?"

Well this sounded creepy. He didn't know his cousin told me they were relatives. Oh my, what a good way to start this.

The boy starts laughing, "I see Anna was here long enough to tell you probably all her and my life story. Uhm.. Sorry for that. Again."

God. Is he trying to kill me? Good-looking and cute..

"It's ok, really. But what I'd like to know is if you need any help with picking your instrument?" I questioned him and he nodded.

"That would be great, thanks uhm.."  "Lucy"  "Lucy. What a beautiful name."

I looked to the ground, not knowing what to do. Well I don't get complimented often so I just smiled at him.

After he had picked a guitar for himself and one little one for Anna, he stood at the register to pay for them. I'm normally not in the register shift but since there was no-one to be found, I just did this job, too.

"This is £530." He gave me the money, then went out of the shop to the bus station ahead of the shop without saying goodbye or whatsoever. Only his little cousin told me a quick bye.

'What an asshole' I thought, but seconds later I saw a guy with black clothing on coming near Anna and the boy. I thought about where I've sawn this man before but when I realized it I sprinted to the bus station without caring for cars.

I just reached Anna and the boy in time to push them away from the now drawn gun.

Next thing I know is a gunshot then screams and my head hitting something hard.

I'm sorry if this is short but like I told you it's my first story..

hope you like it ;)
