[Y/n] pov

"Where would Temari be?" I asked myself as I walked around the Village hidden in the leaf looking for Temari my girlfriend. I can't believe how long we've been together; as of last week we have been together for about 3 years now.

I am here with Garra and Kankuro looking for Temari who ran off saying she needed to meet someone. Kankuro whispered something into her ear as she blushed bright red before running off to meet that someone. I wonder who though?

We all spilt up looking all over the village trying to find her so that we could finish up out mission of killing a spy from our village that has some valuable information. While we were in the middle of finishing up the mission, Temari looked in the direction of a shadow passing by before saying that she needed to meet someone.

Temari left Gaara, Kankuro, and me here to finish up the job and when we were done we all left to find her. I followed her charka that I found easily because I was trained to be a sensor ninja, not before long I found her only to see something I wish I didn't.

I saw Temari my girlfriend that I gave my heart once cold heart to was now kissing the one and only; Shikamaru Nara. My heart broke as I then remembered why I became so cold hearted....this has happened before to me as of today also. I started to tear up without noticing this myself as I then felt something warm and wet roll down my cheeks. I quickly went up to the new couple as I saw Temari look at me in surprise. as she quickly pulled away from Shikamaru but as she was about to say something to her I cut her off on that.

"We're throught Temari...I thought you were different....I thought that you were....t-the one for me but I gu-guess I was w-wrong..."I said as I looked down, the tears in my eye's already escaping while my bangs shadowed half my face from her view.

"[Y/n]; I....I-it's not wh-what it looks l-like I swear! Pl-Please! I-I-I love y-you!" she yelled out as she grabbed my wrist before I pulled it away from her mumbling quietly. "Yeah...sure it is...that's what they all say..."I said as I turned around ready to leave them before saying to them. "Hope you have a good life together..."I said as I was back to my emotionless expression that I raely show but now it's back due to her opening up my eye's again.

With that said I quickly left to find Gaara, quickly so that I could leave this place already....away from her. Once I found him I explained to him what happened as I also told him about me planning on leaving the village to train by myself.

He didn't like the idea of me leaving but he agreed as he wished me luck before I gave him on last hug, running out of the village's gate. I was heading back to our village to ask Kazekage-sama to allow me to travel alone to train.

Time skip

Kazekage-sama allowed me to go out and train as long as I took care of myself, which I agreed to do as I set out to find my old village. Once I was there I was greeted by my auntie and uncle asking about my girlfriend coming to visit. My face immediately turned darker as I told them that we broke up as they themselves were shocked. I told them what happened as they got mad but I just brushed it off as I walked to the old training grounds I used to train at here.

While I was over there training I meet the new love of my life....Kagome of the Yuki clan was is also my best friend from when I was little.

Temari's pov

It's been a year now that [Y/n] had left the village and I really miss her/him very much. I missed everything about her/him that she/he used to do when we were still a couple. I sighed out sadly as I walked throughout my village with Shikamaru mumbling something about something or someone being a drag. I caught sight of Gaara talking to...[Y/n]?!

I smiled as I ran towards them before seeing a girl with Black her and Emerald green eye's had her arm linked together with his/her arm. I then saw [Y/n] look in my direction before lightly smiling before looking back at Gaara saying one line that broke my heart into a million pieces.

"Gaara-kun meet my wife Kagome and Kagome meet my best friend Gaara." He/She said as she/he smiling more brightly as they shook each others hands. Once they did 'Kagome' then kissed [Y/n] on her/his cheek making her/him blush brightly red.

I knew now that they were both happy together....that I missed my chance with her/him...that I couldn't get back together with him/her...ever!
