He wasn't rude or cold. He wasn't flirty or outgoing. He was quiet. Always with a light gray sweatshirt and his navy blue watch. He sat by himself in class, during lunch, on the bus. People would talk to him. He wouldn't talk back. We all knew he could speak, he just never bothered with us. Trying to understand him was like trying to go through a labyrinth.
His grades were above average, his parents were high school sweethearts who run a restaurant down town, his little sister has hopes and dreams to be an Olympic gymnast, his older brother is graduating university with dreams of starting his own business. Nothing seems wrong because maybe there isn't.
