Hope

Charlie sat in the waiting room anxiously, with a sleeping Brielle on her lap, and Mia and Blake occupied on their ipads elsewhere wear in the waiting room.

That morning, her mother was admitted to the hospital at 34 weeks pregnant, when she saw her water break during breakfast.

Soon after they arrived at the hospital, they rushed Sabrina into the ER, with Corey following her.

"Sissy. Is mommy and the triplets going to be okay?" Mia whined as she walked over to her oldest sister.

"I don't know Mi, how about you take a nap like your sister" Charlie suggested

Charlie tried to keep her cool, but she was worried sick. She had learned during her mother's pregnancy that she was bound to have some issues, do to her small and petite body having to hold three babies at once.

"Char, would you like to see your siblings?" Corey's voice cracked as he approached the waiting room to find his children.

"What's their names!" Mia asked as she ran up to her father.

"Not now Mi. Char, it's gonna be your only chance" Corey cried.

And at that moment Charlie Grace knew, she had lost her three new siblings.

"Yeah Dad" Charlie's voice cracked too, as her eyes became glossy with tears filling them.

Corey soundlessly lead her to the nicu, where the three small babies layed.

"That ones Mason. The bigger one is Ethan, and the little girl is Ember" Corey cried.

"I can't do this" Charlie cried as she sank to the floor.

"I'm sorry Char, I didn't know what I was thinking" Corey cried while joining his oldest daughter on the ground.

"Their gone. They did nothing wrong, they are just babies" Charlie cried.

"I know sweetie," Corey sighed.

"Mom. Is Mom okay?" Charlie gasped.

"Your mother is doing fine. She's resting now, and hasn't heard the news. I have to break it to her soon" Corey confessed while brushing away his tears.

"Can I be alone with them? Just for a little. I just wanna please?" Charlie begged as she looked at her father with pleading eyes.

"Of course princess. I'll be in your Moms room. Love you" Corey sniffled while getting up and leaving.

"Hi." Charlie whispered while standing up to stare at the three helpless babies.

"I know you can hear me, or see me. But I love you guys, and I'm so upset your-You-Your not here" Charlie cries out.

"I'm your older sister Charlotte. But I go by Charlie. You three also have three older siblings too. Brielle Mia and Blake. They would of loved seeing you grow up, and getting to play with you."

"Maybe one day, when i'm gone from here, I'll meet you guys. Mom and Dad will be there, and the twins and Blake." Charlie sniffled while placing her hand on the powerless incubator.

She turned to the biggest baby,

"Hi Ethan. In the car ride a few days ago, I picked out your middle name. Ethan Daniel. I think it suits you very well." Charlie grinned.

"Now Mason. I didn't get a say in your name, but it's a really cute name, and I will miss you and your siblings so much." Charlie sighed, as her hand brushed over the incubator.

"And little princess Em. I had thought of a new name for you on the car ride here. Anastasia is too fancy. I like hope. Because as Moms character she acted as, she learned that hope isn't for suckers. And I have hope for you" Charlie smiled.

Soon after than, she did the unthinkable and opened the incubator lifting the small, only three pound lifeless baby out.

"I'll sing to you, just like Mom did to me." Charlie smiled through her tears.
