This summer has been one of the worst in my life.
April 22, 2017, my mom was killed by her husband. I completely forgot about my best friend's birthday which was three days later.
Because of this, I had to move to Weatherford to live with my dad and step-mom, almost two hours from my school and my friends. I had to make the difficult decision to actually transfer to Weatherford High School for my final year.
No one will know me, but I don't know if that's a good thing or not.
