To him it was the thought that counted, but to her it was those words.

He thought that She needed to be noticed and cared for.

She thought that she could handle it.

But in the end He needed her just as much as She needed him

In the end nothing mattered except the fact that they trusted each other. The fact remained and stood that they were better than they were because they knew about each others problems. Each of them was the guiding light for the other. They could withstand the storm that life brought. Even through the slivers of insanity etched into his mind, and even through the scars staying reminding her of past mistakes. They both knew that they got where they were by holding on to what was needed. The thought counts, but the words project the thought in to being. The words give the thought figure and the ability to imprint and echo through the minds of anyone patient enough to listen, to better their lives through understanding of the world around them.

One simple thought, or a couple of words can mean the difference of life or death.

They both knew that.

They hoped others might to.
