AN: I'll just say it right now, I'm not a fan of BTS. I made this purely for my cousin who lowkey blackmailed me into this (love you hoe). Due to her encouragement, I'm putting this fic up.

Also, I'm not used to using Wattpad; I tend to lean towards AO3, so apologies in advance if the format is weird.

K, this is for you.

"I had it!"

Dead bodies litter the clearing in the forest, three men and one woman standing in the midst of it.

"Clearly you didn't!"

Kayal's eyes travel to the crest on one of the men's armor. Her eyes narrow.

"The Kingdom of BTS." she huffs sheathing her daggers, "Of course. I should have known." and with that, she turns and walks towards one of the dead bodies.

The men look affronted. "What's that supposed to mean?" The shortest one asks as they all start following her.

"It means that you and your ever-spreading kingdom never turn down the opportunity to intrude upon businesses where they aren't wanted."

"Have you any idea who you're speaking to?!" the tallest one demands.

Kayal pauses and turns to see him get elbowed in the stomach. She looks the three over with a raised eyebrow and says with a shrug, "Probably someone related to the royal family. Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"

"No."

"Good. Goodbye gentlemen. The quickest way out of the forest and into BTS is east from here. Try not to get lost."

The men watch her reach into the corpse's pocket and pull out a necklace. "There you are..." she murmurs and proceeds to put it on. Then she stands up and walks out of the clearing.

The men stare after her for a few seconds before running to catch up.

"At least let us escort you." the short one with a black undercut says, "My name is Jimin. And these are my frie-my comrades. Namjoon," the tallest one with platinum hair, "and Jin." the one with the ridiculous bowl cut. "We are...um...trained warriors from...a mysterious land..."

Kayal pauses and looks him over, hand absently fondling with the necklace. "Jimin? As in the prince?" she asks.

There is an awkward hesitation. Then all the men vehemently start to deny it.

"Did I say Jimin? I meant Jin–"

"You idiot, that's my name!"

"You stole his clothes, now you wanna steal his identity?!"

Kayal saves them from further embarrassment by cutting in just as smoothly, "I'm Kay..a...um...Kaia. That's me. Good ol' Kaia." she internally cringes, but her obvious lie seems to have gone over their heads.

"Well then, Lady Kaia," Jimin says, "Night falls soon, and these woods will get dangerous. So tonight, me and my men shall escort you to...uh...where did you say you're heading?"

"I didn't." Kayal says in a deadpan, and she resumes walking. When the men follow, Kayal decides that since they're so insistent in escorting her, she might as well make use of them. "I'm on my way to the Moonfell border."

Jimin frowns.

"That's two days southeast from here!" Namjoon exclaims.

Kayal shrugs.
