Just a Kiss

Christmas. Everyone loved that holiday, right? Wrong! This Christmas, a certain blonde sat all alone in his room, covered in blankets, staring at a picture of his lost mom. He sighed as he rolled on to his side, dry tears on his rosy cheeks.

"Kid, the party's gonna start." His black kwami flew over, resting on the boy's pillow. He rubbed his cheek, and realized he had been crying.

"You good?" He whimpered at his master. Adrien slowly got up, with a "yes".

Plagg watched as his master stood up to go freshen up. The black cat flew to the door, made sure the coast was clear, before flying out. Sitting on the rail, he saw people swarm in, one by one, two by two, three by three. Each person had dropped off a gift, walking in with snowy boots and warm jackets. He heard the door slam, and turned to see his young kitten.

He stood there in his signature clothes, a red Santa hat, and a a roll of Camembert. He gave it to Plagg, muttered an "eat up" then left. His kwami watched as the blondie strutted down the flight of stairs.

"PLAGG!" A voice yelled. He turned, to see a red blur as he was suffocated in a hug.

"I missed you!" Tikki squealed.

(A/N: Just imagine that they know each other, but Chat and LadyBug don't, kk?)

"Hey Tikki." The two conversed, while another event took place downstairs. ^_^

Adrien found his way to his best friend, Nino Lahiffe. As he walked around, he didn't notice the pair of blue eyes following him. As he took all his surroundings in, he realized just how much he loved his mother. Memories. They stampeded through his mind, as tears threatened to fall. Without a word, he ran.

He ran. And he continued running until he reached the balcony railing. He looked over the city. The lights, the colors..it angered him. He bit his lip, as the metallic taste of blood leaked out. He groaned as he clenched his fists. "I hate Christmas!"

"Adrien, you okay. Well of course you're not-I mean-howhow-what-is wrong?" The sweet voice stammered, causing Adrien to turn.

Green met Blue. Dark met Light. Hate met Love.

He sighed, before smiling softly.

"Mari, I'm goo-" He was interrupted with two arms wrapping around him. He froze. Suddenly, the cold night felt warm. Cautiously he wrapped his arms around the shorter girl.

"Th-thank you Mari." He whispered.

His thought: Maybe Christmas ain't so bad after all.

Her thought: OMG!IAMHUGGINGADRIENFRIGGINAGRESTE!IMDREAMING!NODONTWAKEME!AAAHHHH!

As he pulled apart, he noticed her smile, but then she gasped and went bright red. You could only guess.

Adrien tilted his head before looking up at the archway. Mistletoe. A light blush dusted his cheeks.

"Well, Christmas spirit." He smiled lightly, before putting a hand on the bluenette's shoulder, pulling her close. He leaned forward. Their lips met.

It felt familiar, to both lips. They recognized each other, which caused the kiss to last longer than expected. When he pulled away, he saw her look up, and, for no reason, he saw a picture of Ladybug. He shook his head, before smirking at her. She went pale, then bright red, to the point he thought she was gonna explode. He laughed a bit, before walking away. "I love Christmas..." He whispered accidentally.

She stood there frozen. "Just a kiss..." She whispered to herself. From that day, she never looked at the blonde the same way, and though he hid it well, the same went for him...
